Hi,

A wet miserable morning here so far at 6C like yours Logan & Gail; after our very rare long summer I wonder if we're now reverting back to nine months of winter and three months of bad weather?

It was only 5C yesterday but first thing in the morning I swept lots of oak leaves from our patio and paths which warmed me up; in the workshop I put the fan heater on for an hour before turning it off and enjoyed the day in the workshop; strange how I felt comfortable but as soon as I left the workshop to come up into the bungalow I felt cold. The central heating was on all last night due to its frost protection at temperatures below 5C.

I've already done the supermarket shopping and once the school run clears we're popping over to Barnsley then the rest of the day in the workshop; I was up at 6 o'clock this morning even though I'm retired; there aren't enough hours in the normal 48 hour days?
