Hi,

White over with frost this morning at -2C. The frost though was unusual it standing up as thousands of spikes looking very pretty.

The leaves on the trees look beautiful but are now rapidly falling in readiness for winter.

Two weeks ago I planted Daikon Radishes in the new garden plot. On my way out for the evening hunt I decided to see if they had sprouted yet. To my surprise the green tops were already over 4” tall. The rain and cool weather we have been experiencing lately must agree with them. In a couple of weeks I will mulch them in with straw and leave them to grow over the winter. Hopefully they will help break up the hard soil down deep.

Well what is there to say winter is now up on we again and it's pouring down outside with heavy winds, it's cold and the rads are on full blast..temp at the mo 50F

Started off dull and by 9am the sun was out by my god it was cold..temp 53F I've soon come in after doing the leaf collection again.

They have been so strong as to take the cement foundations of homes up out of the earth. We listen for a certain phrase from the tv radar weatherperson now, words that chill the soul, "Debris Signature". This means the tornado is so strong that it is blowing enough debris up high enough into the sky as to make a significant radar indication.

It must be terrible to live in that area and know this I would be a nervous wreck...knowing your home to lift or anything bad...I've seen some pic's over the years and it's heart wrenching after people have given their heart and soul in to their homes...my fingers are crossed for you mate it never happens bad for you.

I've kept in doors...we're supposed to have it mild up till the end of Deember and in to January 6wks of a bad drop...that's what the news said last night
