Oh, dear! Terrible to have so much rain. No wonder you can't have dahlias. I think dahlias might do well amongst your roses near the pavement because of the heat.

It's the slugs that's why i don't have them.
I've been lucky with the Cosmos though, once they grow they don't bother with them.
I was hoping to do more of the helebore leaves,i could try it this morning. But got to see if they're still wet from earlier on, it had been raining before we got up.
