Now it's all calm and bright. Thank heavens.. I thought I needed to wait till 3pm to go out.

The weatherman is predicting snow for N.C. tonight. Since the temperature hasn't been above freezing for 3 days it will probably stay on the ground for a while. I am not going to complain though after seeing what you folks in the U.K. Have put up with this winter.

Hi,

The wind is easing here now alp but Blackie is still hovering; during dinner it became very dark outside but this too has eased a little it just now being the usual black hole. I spoke too soon; Gale is trying to get in through our letterbox.

Guess who lives 3.1 miles and 8 minutes from Emley?

The west coast of Ireland was hit by Eleanor (nice name, fearsome lady) and I'm hoping our members in her path are safe.
It's still cold here, but today is the last predicted day of cold, then back to the normal 50's daytime, high 30's nighttime.

What we have had is nothing compared with other countries, but our state of unpreparedness means every slightest bit of anormality, chaos will definitly follow.

We've had nothing but cold weather for weeks. It was up to 14°F today, which was nice. We could see 30s on Sunday.

Its cold windy and snowing temps holding at 17*f , just took Fern out for a fast walk she like when the weather gets cold and love to play in the snow. she is one crazy crazy dog
