Green smiley is a bit more like cheesed off .. Is cheese green in colour when bad! You always make me laugh! Don't you worry as I will go by what you say.

Son installed this grammarly which is very annoying. Always counting my grammatical mistakes.. I always have 2 dots after a sentence and it is counted as ONE mistake.

Well, I strayed as well. Had to weed the patch as I am 1 and a half butts left and can't afford to water weeds, so spent an hour and a half weeding and watering.

Blue irises are doing very well

Some irises are showing their petals. Very strange one

My cerinthe has self-seeded and moved to where they wanted me to have planted them.. See even a humble plant has brain and brawn power!

Alp, always lovely and so advanced. :)It's surprising how things grow, where you don't want them to. OH says the comos is ok in GH, cucumbers are doing well.OH met a couple of neaghbours and they told him, it was a good thing that i did my knee, so OH would find out what to do if i wasn't there at all, like being in hospital.:)

Hi , had a hard frost last night which has caused some serious damage to some plants lots are lent over :(, most will recover but for the Dicentra which has buckled and broke its stems , same thing happened to the delephiniums etc but the stems haven't been damaged. Even the tulips are leaning over, the warm weekend hasn't done any favours, soft lush growth very subsceptible to a hard frost.
It caught me out last night I didn't fleece anything. I was only expecting a grass frost if that. I be more prepared tonight, glad I brought the canna in last night out of chance.

Hello all, a bit chilly here today as well.
A little walk around my yard just now. My neighbours cat, visits me several times a day for treats.

My rain tank, I meant to get the tarp off and the down spout directed to it but now it will wait until the snow and rain stops.

My Allium and Tulip patch all covered in a snow blankie.

I think that after I shovel this snow off the walks of my elderly friends along my street, I will stay in the GH and pot up Nicotiana seedlings.

@Perki Don't worry about dicentra. As long as it has a root, it will come back. Crikey, I feel like crying for you. The heat and freeze just don't help plants and give us the illusion that the plants will survive the snap.. I left all my trays on top of the cosmos, but everything else is crying out for water!:eek::eek::cry:

To tell you the truth, I actually snapped the tips of my delphiniums as I want them to bulk up rather than having one early and lone stem. I hope I have done the right thing. My tulips are on the way out. Sad that the cold snap has been so severe for you. I did see a film of frost on the roof of my lean to when I closed the window this morning.

Took some more photos when the sun was out

Love the chaos in this iris

@johnny canoe Lovely cat. The same happens to my friend(sorry for the typo!). Her neighbour's cat is always going to hers for treats. I don't mind them, but hate it when they go round and round your leg .. very dodgy!:D

Lovely winter again! I admire you for raising such lovely plants in such inhospitable weather, but the pics are stunning! ;)

Hiya, Logan! How's the leg today? I bought Scilla peruviana (Portuguese Squill) when I saw Rachel de Thame bought it from a seller from probably Chelsea Flower Show 2 years ago. Finally, it has got a bud. Very pleased. Shame I have only got one stem. Well, better than no bud!

For those who don't know Chelsea Flower Show. It is one of the most flower shows run by Royal Horticultural Society every year.

@Upsy Daisy Have downloaded Garden Rescue. Wish Dimmock hadn't endorsed such a lot of rubbish! Haha - the hand fork with her mugshot endorsement bent and the spray bottle didn't spray well, leaking every time. Won't buy anything cheap and nasty any more.

No rain again! :cry::cry::cry:

Hiya Alp.:) The leg is ok, but the knee feels sore sometimes. I used to like Charley Dimmock when she was in ground force. She has changed a lot, in looks and the way she speaks.

You mean she has polished her accent? I don't mind her look, but I do mind her endorsing all the junk ..

Haha. They were £1 each and rubbish. Have you ever smelt Beckham perfume! I wouldn't use it for my toilet. Haha! I am going to tidy up the garden and the lean to and will take some pics when they are more civilised.
