Yummy.. Logan, I'm drooling all over the keyboard. I have totally consumed my 5 packets of chili crisps - I'm so hopeless. Sitting there doing nothing.. watched 4 episodes of Traces of evidence! Went out to have a look and shock and horror my dahlias looked like they have been boiled.. all ready for consumption :eek:. Have a bit of drizzle and just enough to wet the bottom of the butt, but not even an inch and it has finished already. Very chilly again.

Chilli crisps sounds yummy, :LOL:never tried them. You don't seem to have a lot of luck with your plants. Is it always like it,or just this year? It supposed to get milder tomorrow.OH was going to put 2 cucumber plants into a larger pot to put in the concervatory, when he brought the pot in, it was too small. He washed it as well. So he'sgot the right one this time. He does the roater for the people who do the exam invigilation. For 2 local schools, he gets them both done and sent off, then somebody says that they can't do some of the dates.

Hi there alp and Logan, mmmm chilli fried red onions sounds really good. Your hubs is doing very well, does he often cook. Mine cooks most of our meals now that the kids have gone, not that I'm grumbling:).

Come on alps pass the packet round, I've never had chilli crisps either:)

We always make a stock from the meat bones too, so handy to keep in the freezer(y)

Well guess what............my poor Cosmos are still waiting to be potted on , decided on a 5 mile walk which took us through an amazing wood filled to overflowing with English Bluebells.....why oh why didn't I take my camera:(.

We too are in the middle a spit and spot shower, not sure if it will persist....hope so,

Even spit and spot do not like Essex and have deserted us. It was so cold. I went to cover my boiled dahlias.. Too late, the horse has bolted. Only this year. I have never seen such a late and severe frost here in Essex in late April. Thank heavens that I covered all my cosmos. Will seed some more. The chilli crisps were a bit hard, and as I don't want to hurt your teeth, Upsy, so I have consumed them all. :D;)

Hi Daisy, no he's never cooked until now. So i have to tell him what to do from the dining table. I cut all the veg up.:)

Alp, that's a shame about the crisps.

I know the meat won't be good as the rest, but it shouldn't go to waste:)

Daisy fancy forgetting your camera:(

Nah.. chilli crisps are not good for your health! You need more nutritious food post operation. See I care for your welfare! Forgot to buy another pack! £1 for 6 packs is really not a bad price. Bet it's cheaper because they are old and therefore hard and repackaged for sale

Hi Alp and Upsy Daisy.
Yes those are gulls. The river has been ripped up yet again to make artificial rapids for a world class kayaking venue. The city did it all several years ago but we got the mother flood in Calgary a few years ago and it destroyed it all. I wish they had never built the first one. They destroyed the Pelican habitat and there has been been no sign of the birds on that strip of the Bow river.
My city is Calgary, or Stampede city or Cow Town, all those names apply. Most of those skyscrapers are oil companies and banks. I'm about a 20min walk into downtown.

That river can turn into a monster.
