@joysome asked me where I would get the land. Well, half of this wasteland here...

I will clean all these up all by myself. It will be at least 2 weeks..

Upsy Daisy, roast went ok, took longer. Ended up with beef sandwiches, but today have a proper meal.
Alp, that looks a lot to do. But it will be worth it.Take it easy.

Morning , another morning of rain . Had a lovely weekend of weather , went to Harrogate flower show yesterday which was a good day out, lots of plant nursery's and goody's on sale. Got myself some more eucomis bulbs sparkling burgundy ( 3 for £5 bargain ) and pole evansii which is a giant variety, got some Chasmanthe corms which I've not grown before, another david howard dahlia tuber - lunaria chedglow - carrot / tomato seeds.

What you doing Aym ? looks like you've got a lot to do there.

I can't believe I have had no notification for this. Good heavens.. so excited when someone else is spending the money. Perki: You obviously are a person of great restraint - how could you buy so few?? Looking forward to seeing your eucomis.

I must put aside £30 for the Hyde Hall festival..

Some eucomis can be very big, I had a few last year and I don't seem to have seen them this year, and if I didn't water today, I would have nothing left to see.. I had 2 drops of drizzle and that's my luck.. I'm booking hotel room and by the look of it, I might end up in West Bromich ..

New Drama on Sky 1
On 5th may 9pm
Jamestown.from the Makers of Downton Abbey
It tells the story of the female settlers in 17th-century.America, following 3 courageous women-Verity, Alice and Jocelyn- who make the journey across the ocean for a new life in the frontier colony of Jamestown, Virginia. It's a town that's been without women for 12 years.So naturally their arrival causes quite a stir.

I'd watch it if i had Sky.

Hadn't watched LOD before, but thought I would as there has been a lot said about it. Watched the first couple of episodes from the current series last night......I'm hooked!!

Well as is normal for us , we didn't stick to our plans. Went to town and bought bits and bobs that we hadn't plan to buy then drove out to our favourite Carvery and had a lovely roast lunch.On the way back we stopped off to do a quick grocery shop.
Home now , washing machine chugging away and chilling with a freshly brewed cuppa.......life is good!

Mind you still haven't done the Cosmos yet!!!?

I went on the motorbike, so cant carry to much but its a good run out on the bike over the tops, about 100 mile round trip. I am a bit tight as well haha dont like parting with the cash.

@Perki I'm also very tight at the moment. Car insurance £600 plus..Road tax, MOT in June.. passport renewal..

Might start a seed swap here..

Didn't stop until 5.45pm and was still painfully slow and have already had 4 crates of compost.. At this rate, I will need a lot of steaks..
