Chamomile and Valerian root come to mind.

There is a tea I used to drink, let me see if I can find it... Yes!! (y)

https://www.yogiproducts.com/teas/rest-relax-teas/bedtime/

If you scroll down the page, you'll see "What's in this tea," and you can hover your cursor over the question mark (upper right corner of each picture) to see what purpose each one serves. There are also fancy arrows ... < and > ... which will switch the page to the rest of the ingredients. (I thought they were just a pretty border at first!!.)

I also clicked "View all ingredients" - I thought it would take me to a list of ingredients for that tea, which would be easier than clicking the arrows - but it takes you to a list of everything they use in ALL of their teas. o_O

Disclaimer: Although that tea does taste wonderful,, I am not necessarily promoting the purchase of their product. For someone who can make a hot sauce to set fire to the devil, using a list of ingredients to make a tea should be an easy task! :D (y)

I bet tomorrow morning, you don't know who we are, @Verdun For me, my birthday has only one advantage - I probably don't have to cook!

Today has been a hectic day. Dug up the border and was amazed at how good the compost was - well, certain parts! Have done so much that I couldn't even stand up. I have found out that I have killed most of my double and expensive snowdrops.. What a dummy I am!:cry::cry::cry::cry:

What makes you think you have "killed" your snowdrops alp? I very much doubt you have.

That border is very hot and very dry and I think they have become cinder or part of the compost. I have killed my Davidia Involucrata on that border ..:cry::cry:! You know we had a very hot spell and that border has the sun on it from 5am to 8pm in summer.

I picked some blueberries and blackberries, their both coming to an end.
Had to take a urine sample of mine to the doctor's surgery. My infection came back. Dr, phoned me back, about out an hour later. She said there is something there, but wants to send it off to see what type of antibiotics to prescribe. Won't know until Monday. Barley's got the runs, had to take him out again at 6pm. It took him a long time to do anything, all he wanted to do was sniff and have a wee all the time. Ended up doing a full walk, but i don't mind, wanted the extra exercise.haha.

I repotted my Loganberry which typically has one to 3 fruits a year. I never watered the poor thing and it's always hot there. I have to think of a place to put these thorny plants. Now I have 1/3 of a bald border .. Barley must have come with some kind of ailments .. Hope he gets better tomorrow. You probably should buy a cranberry tree, @Logan .. It can't do you any harm ..

@alp yes thanks. He's picked up something when he's been sniffing the grass. Logan berries aren't thorny, are you sure you've got the right one? We did try to grow cranberry plants, but didn't get many off them. They died after a few years. We tried growing lingon berries, they were even worse.

Good morning to all and especially to our midnight friend, @MaryMary !

It's overcast but the predicted rain hasn't come. I have the feeling that we will have plenty of rain from across the pond, with so many hurricanes brewing in a chain.

I think it could be tayberry. A bit long and the fruit tasted like raspberry. It's definitely a cross. Now that I have exposed such a large area on the border, I might have to cover it with trays of plants or I have to weed in 2 months' time and that would really be no peace for the wicked.:D!

The poor dog doesn't seem to have a very good constitution. Hope it makes a total recovery, @Logan !
