The plant wasn't in very good health. I will go around and see if there are any more bargain. I bought the other one for 50p as well and it came with a large pot. I have made the money back, sold quite a few stalks for £1 in the bootsale. The lady was so pleased and asked if I had an allotment!

That's great. When you do the boot sale,do you see anyone selling hand made greetings cards and how much were they? Thanks. Keith wants to sell the cards that he makes, but nobody's buying them at the moment.

Good Morning all...
Where do I buy rhubarb as I dont want to plant seeds I have 4 very large plastic planters going begging and I figured if I'm gonna do this leaf thing then I might as well use those...seeds take too long, can I buy a plant even at this time of year..I hear they winter well....Pity my old Grandad wasn't still around he had masses of it grown on a large mound about 20ft long and about 2 foot in height..Rhubard sprang from it at all angles :) My grandparents really knew how to grow things especially veg, I wish I'd asked more questions back then..I suppose after the war it was a natural thing to do..grow your own produce.....Hope you have a great day...Happy Gardening ...Regards C

@Logan He could try gumtree as it is free. granma said that they sell very well. You could ask her. Try ebay, but he must factor in the postage which is quite costly and commissions to paypal and ebay. I would say try gumtree, but don't fall for pretend interest and pay for it. I never do. I know someone phones up and pretends to be a buyer and just disappears. But from time to time, I do have successes. He could search for these cards on ebay to see how many has been sold and how much people charge.. Good luck to him.

@BigC I hope you have had some power rest.. Less than 6 hours of sleep is dangerous. By the way, try Indian head massage. My son had one and he said it worked.

Go to gumtree or freewheely and I am sure someone will give you a bit. Ask your friends to see if people have them in allotments .. In a way, I'm glad that it didn't live as it takes up so much space. I have a big-ish lawn, but I don't fancy turning up more rubbles or bricks for the sake of rhubarbs.

@Logan I forgot to tell you that I never left my stall except when I had to trace the woman to whom I unwittingly gave £20. Should have done it in September as there weren't a lot of people that time.

For once, my son was in charge and he actually could talk to people and for that I gave him £20, but I asked him to pay for petrol £25 last week. I felt such a meanie. I just paid for my Tv licence. A whopping £147 for repeats and I have contributed to Chris Evans' £2m salaries. The PM gets £150,000 and loads of sticks and treacherous bad mouthing and this buffon gets £2m. If he gets £2m, I wonder how much Lord Hall gets .. lording over the BBC!

And there is the household insurance ..

I watched a documentary on Nth Korea and how their economy works..its 2 tiered the peoples economy and the royal economy..and the royal economy embezzles money from the peoples economy to a very very large degree and I cant help but think that we are no different except on a smaller scale

The TV licence has been frozen, so you could be paying more, but maybe not so much repeats.
I don't mind them, i might have missed something. They don't repeat EastEnders on bbc3 now. They put it on line to save money.

@BigC That price is for the 3 or 2 crowns. If you sign up for their emails, you will automatically get offers.
3 crowns is fine..I have no room in the garden to plant it except in some large planting pots so I can utilise those
signing up in this instance may be a good idea for future offers...Thanks again @Logan

I feel very sorry for the north Koreans. They had to cry on cue, and would be punished if they didn't act well enough. Someone in The Papers said that Kim wants to have nuke so that he wouldn't end up like Gaddafi or Saddam Hussain.

I wouldn't want to be his rocket man as he might be beheaded if the target was missed. 2017, we have a cult like this to keep us peasants, and as you said, @BigC corruption and outdated method of getting money are rife but nobody dares to rock the boat. Spinning, disabling of unfavourable comments and PR are part and parcel of modern day living.
