As I live in Essex, I'm sure a tealight would work well for me. Love the way you photograph your step by step.. Seems to be so easy ..

@BigC What other projects have you got in the pipeline and how are your hands?

Hands are improving but not taking the meds as they made me dog tired...as for projects..I'm making a the candle first, then some sauce (Chilli) then a rain chain from black polished pebbles I bought last weekend from the garden centre, providing my diamond tipped drill bit lasts the distance :)..I'm hatching some fish eggs at the moment so everything is on the back burner until the weekend (yes I'm an aquarist) and I make keyrings too hahahahaha

Today, I was trying to apply sealant and I couldn't even make it smooth .. Some people are just hopeless .. whilst for others, it's so easy ..

TIP..dip your finger in tepid water and run it along the silicone bead. Yes I make my own aquariums :)

Oh, you must upload a pic of your aquarium(s) please! I love fish like nemo and other exotic fish .. I'm sure no one will mind!

I used my saliva, but of course, it is still not good enough. Also, we messed up the sides as well. Just hopeless.

Oh, my gawd! How beautiful! How do you manage to keep the pH? And I love the prawn, so lovely and the neon fish above .. Are they handsome/beautiful! Now you just need a tiger fish - I just love it's markings and everything about it and the prawn .. They are works of art in their own right..

Sooooooooo glad to have you here! Haha! (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

Woken up by heat and went out to drain the filled-up butt so that it can take in more water. For once the weather report is correct. It is raining, albeit on the side of a drizzle.

Just turned on the slow cooker to stew my cooking apples. Might go back to bed later.

@BigC must be costly to run a salt water tank and keep these fish. But they are lovely, with the coral swaying in the aerated water and the iridescent fish .. There is an element of charm and magic to it.

That woodpecker seems to be so tiny or you've a big hand, LOL!

Lovely picture.. The closest I have come to feeding a bird was a parakeet or parrot in Woburn Safari zoo. Lovely memories. The worst was seeing all the monkeys stripping the car of their rubber and what not. The damage must have been horrendous.

You must be very excited to have a woodpecker feeding out of your hand. Is that a baby? I'm off to bed now as I'm freezing... See you at 7.30am..
