The vinyl in our kitchen has got rip in it. It's been there for years, from one of our dogs a long time ago,but that's a long story and it's been fine. The other dogs didn't bother about it. A few days ago hubby put some tape on to stop him catching his foot on it. This afternoon we had to go out and left them. They've been alright on a Friday when i had to go to physio. But today when we got back, the new tape had been ripped up, along with some of the vinyl. The only thing we can think of is that we tried to take them with us, but we couldn't get Barley out into the car. I know it was Berry, he's tried to get the tape off before. But the vinyl should be replaced anyway and the whole kitchen needs doing, but when it will be done,i don't know.

I obviously had started it, gone somewhere else, then went to Hyde Hall plant sale which didn't really exist and I then realised that I missed a few words and forgot to click full image. Dementia has taken a shine to me.

You should write a placard saying: My name is Berry and I am now in sinbin for ripping up the tape and post it here .. Very naughty boy! Now that my son can tile a room, I'm sure vinyl is no problem for him or me.

Weather must have been absolutely gorgeous @Mark56 's way .. You have so many Llanduff. I really like mine as they all come up upright and perfect. My first. This year, I haven't bought any coreopsis as all those (at least 3) have all died on me. Yours are so prolific and beautiful. Today I actually saw exactly the same Agastache in Hyde Hall. Very lovely flowers.

I have seeded praedox yellow ones, and some orange ones. Some white swan as my only one died on me (or rather I planted something else on top of it and killed it:eek::cry:)

I hope to collect several colours .. Can't wait for next year. Shall I race you, @Mark56 ?

Turned out the plant sale was exactly the same as those on the flower festival and all the other plants were 20% off. A lot of accessories inside the store was 20%. What a waste of time. Did come home with some salvia seeds.. But won't do it again. Have to say the views from the hilltop were fantastic, especially when the rain had cleansed the air and the wind was lovely .. A very nice day out.

Lavender, Veronica, aquelligia, hardy geranium. In between wallflowers and foxgloves at the back, which were growing in the tarmac on the driveway.

I'm surprised that you have room. All my borders have been in the state of JUNGLE! What's the name of the purple spike (not the lavender) please? I saw quite a few of them today!

A lot of people turned up for the plant sale. First free champagne for the first 100 in the queue. We weren't in the queue so we missed out. And then there was two big barbeque stands .. with a menu. a lot of people turned up just for the fun and the sale .. Must be nice for those who live nearby .. Must be a big event for those who live at the end of a stick! ..Nice stick though!

Going to do some more fruit picking, plums, blackberries and blueberries. A lot of the plums, Victorias have had grubs in them. The earlier variety didn't. Put traps up, haven't worked this year. But we do have more plums off the Victoria. Perhaps that makes up for it. The black birds haven't had a go at them this year, that's something.

Morning folks :)
Been to the beach.....glorious weather.
The Eden Project was packed yesterday ....some plants I didnt know so will take a notebook and pen next time. Such a warm day. Take plenty of water with you if you intend to visit the hot biome. There are a couple of cool rooms en route though. Had to go on the bouncy castle.......think someone took photos (possibly to blackmail me at a later date!)
