persicaria polymorpha is magnificent, @Verdun ! Lovely plant. How long do they flower please?

We're now pouring down. I have tidied up quite a bit and I'm going to watch programmes on iplayer. For those who want to buy plants 5-13 September RHS Wisley is now Wisley Flower Festival .. Can you hear me, @Mark56 ? Hehe! I will definitely go..

I mean if Trump and Kim Jong-un give us a chance!

Glad you've finally found the rain clouds, if you've received half as much as me you will be fully satisfied. It's been pouring since 3am non-stop. Some local flooding here. Wisley is on my agenda for September if I can persuade the family the day before we fly to Croatia. ;)The Salvia specialist has been emailing me & promises lots of unusual goodies.. he'll have Salvia Guanajuato ready too. How could one say no!?

Since 3am:eek::eek:! Whoa! We didn't have ours until 10am... I think you should just forget about it. Just chill and wind down for Croatia which I was told was very nice. My passport has expired long time ago and I must do something about it.

Can I befriend this salvia specialist? I could do with soem Salvia Guanjauto or patens. How can I ingratiate myself with this specialist?

I bought a Gregii or Greggi? Lovely, but a bit on the small size. I'd would to have the Nachtvlinder as the colour is just beautiful. Feel like pinching it from the man who pinched all his from NT properties (had the cheek to tell me that!).. I will definitely do so if I saw my mystic spires in his front garden. One day, I came home, there was a hole in my front lawn.. After that, I retired my favorite plants to the back garden..

It's very heavy now. Or it could be my son's Mac ramping up the engine.. Amazing .. Very pleased. We haven't had this kind of persistent and proper rain for nearly two whole years! Just watching The Secret of soil and it was very interesting, but I was so tired and trying so hard to concentrate that I fell asleep and I am freezing. Summer, where are you?

@BigC How are your pains and aches? Usually, it's we women who discuss things like that. Do you have tinkling pains at the end of the your fingers or numbness?
Both hands @alp..it used to be infrequent but now its become constant....restaurants are worse when halfway through a meal you cant feel the fork in your hand..:(
On a brighter note here are some images of my Apache F1 Chilli Pepper which I dissected this evening for seed collection for next season...I started these late this year but still got a good crop..Next year I plan to grow more of this compact bush variety...I will give a run down on the taste and heat scale later...

Morning all...I just got some tabs from the docs and had some bloods done...Not sure if these will do the trick but anyway we'll give it a go..I think its Carpal as previously suggested but why both hands at once thats whats worrying me...Anyway thats enough grumbling about myself there are a lot of people much worse off than moi.
Have a great day people and enjoy your gardening .....C

Lovely photos, especially nice to see the shards of light. Good and cold morning to all.. I'm doing my washing. Must be the atmospheric pressure, I slept till 7 am, which is rare of me. Usually, I woke up 5 or even before that.

Hope the tabs work, @BigC . I know there are lots of people worse than you, but niggling pains can be very demoralising .. Do those exercises on youtube to see if they help. I had plantar Fasciitis, and I followed the execises on youtube i.e. roll the sole on a rolling pin, and they worked. Or I will still be sweeping the floor with my left foot every time I walk.

Hope you look after yourself.

@alp thanks. I'm doing some washing, best day for us. Got to put flee treatment on the boys. I do it every 2 months. It's a spot on treatment, goes on the back of the neck and back. Used to use front line, but get a cheaper one with same ingredients.

Just got my washing on the line and it's breezy. Barley is so well-behaved. Sit stay .. Can you throw something in the air to make him jump and get your hubby to film it? Love the Dreamies with cats. Of course, there's lot of exaggeration. No way can the cat jump that high ...but it's a laugh!

I think you've got all the sunshine, @Verdun .. and beautiful flowers... my salix's on the ground, again... because of the wind!
