Quite true. Don't know how big your garden is, but that area is gem-packed .. loads of goodies already. Don't really like that water feature. Bamboo sprout is a much better idea. Less is more as that area is already like genius working overtime..

Good morning to all - a clear and bright morning .. Going to be sunny.

Some more snaps from Hyde Hall

Somehow the borders this year were not as good as last year.

You can see, the very tall rudbeckias are all the rage, so are the other heleniums and rudbeckias

The following might be the white border

All the white dahlias, daisies and white anemones

Next year, there will be 2 big and exciting additions to Hyde Hall, one is the following greenhouse and I wish they had made it bigger. Shame.

A lot of potatoes and other vegs in this area and this greenhouse is totally new to me.

I so want to have some black tomatoes.

Okra is very happy here

Very nice looking snapdragons. Love your roses too. What are those lovely blue flowers in the last basket please? Very dainty.

I wish I had left some tomatoes indoors. Mind you, some of the sugardrop from Tesco finest are turning red now.. so all is not lost. Must send another appeal for supporting canes .. All my tomatoes collapses onto the floor and one huge spaghetti squash on the ground. A bit worrying. Might need to prop it up with some straws or something. If you fancy spaghetti squash seeds, I can send you some.

Good morning everyone :)
In for another fine day.....(y)
Earlier I took my nephew's dog to the beach....best part of the day. Rabbits galore, a fox, wild thyme underfoot smelling of lemon, gorse still in flower wafting out their almond fragrance, wild orchids, valerian, saponaria, etc., etc., and the most wonderful view of the beach and bay. Even though I see it everyday it doesnt detract from its beauty.....flat blue sea, blue sky and genuine soft golden sand(y)

That's great @Verdun That beach sounds great. My sister in law, lives in Paignton. About 20mins walk from the beach. She moved there a few years ago from here. She said she always wanted to retire at the sea side.

Good Morning my botanical friends....it's absolutely teeming out of the heavens today, cant envisage doing much other than making a few stumps for around the garden and a couple of tea-light holders or pottering around inside the Greenhouse......On brighter note...can anyone tell me when this whopper of a Beefsteak Tomato will want to turn RED...its bloomin massive (never kept this var. before).......also my Apache Chilli's are doing nicely and the Scotch Bonnets are starting to produce...I took some advice and gave them less water which seems to have helped tremendously...Have a great day folks....be good.

Looking around my garden and seeing all your wonderful plants and flowers @Logan and @alp has made me realise I've too much greenery in places..your pics are a true inspiration to me and will have to go for more flowering types as it is evident that I'm a kinda BUSH lover when I look at my borders....thanks for the photos love them and keep them comming although I dont know if these weather conditions would favour a lot of them unless they can survive in a bog hahahahahahaha Regards C
