@BigC have you taken any of the leaves off? That will help. Where the fruit is take them off. Leave some of the leaves on. The ones at the top.:)
My back garden is full of fruit. I make up for it in the front. Hubby's just gone to GC to see if there's any lavender plants. They don't have them all the time.

Thanks for that tip @Logan I suspected this was the case and seems logical to let more light at the fruit...Love the Lavendar ours attracted so many bees this year......Ok I'm off to see what creative juices will flow today...check back in with you all later :)

@alp. what are the little hanging bags in the greenhouse pics, presumably for pest control if so what pests as they are pretty low down on the plant.....
Nothing goes to waste...Today I made a little rustic wooden tealight groupage from old scraps of timber (rather than chucking them in the bin) They are for outside, maybe on a table.....I was going to paint or stain them but on second thoughts, maybe they would be better left to age naturally.....:)

Hi, haven't had much chance over the last weeks to post as I am up in London during the weeks now and pay a fleeting visit home at weekends....then it's only time for Dad visits and household chores.

Love the tea light holders , they made the same on Love Your Garden out of decking off -cuts.Brilliant @BigC

Must say I was pleasantly surprised at how well all my
flowers have survived during my absence ( hubs is not a willing dead header!) . Last week hubs phoned me to tell me about the battering the garden took during the recent high winds and torrential rain....our garden is a breeze place at the best of times, but I felt he was preparing me for the worse !!! But I was thrilled to see it wasn't that bad when I came home on Friday evening.....just a little deadheading was required
Here are a few pics from my tablet , will post more from the camera later if I have time.

Hello BigC,
The trick is to start feeding a flock in the winter when there is less food around for them. Chickadees are the most friendly of the wild birds. Now I just start calling them when I bike into the area and they follow me to my feeding spot. I really enjoy hand feeding the Nuthatches and Woodpeckers from my hand, they tend to start some drama, like fighting and cussing each other out. lol

I went, "Whoa!!" when I saw your lovely birds.... I think even if I feed them in a snowy day here, I will only die from hypothermia... Such a wonder close up... I just love that sensation.

@BigC I don't think you sleep .. always expressing your talents with your hands. That woods have some lovely grain pattern. Make sure there no fire though.

I have some indoors plants.

This one is called streptocarpus Nerys

Don't really like this one much, but reduced.

Went to Homebase and saw these lovely gazannias for £2.97. Queue was very long and asked son if we should aborted it. He said no. I asked him if he liked them and he said yes. At the till, it turned out to be £1.48! Wow .. I was soooo happy.

One of the Griffs Rhys Jones moments. He says the thrill of garden includes turning round a corner and suddenly goes, "Wow... What's that! So big!" I was watering the garden as I planted those new plants from Hyde Hall Flower show. In amongst the jungle, I saw this

There is another one 2/3 of the size of this one. I had no idea it was even there! WOW!

@Upsy Daisy Lovely flowers and glad that you're back.
