@Upsy Daisy Don't worry. We know you have had a lot on your mind. And such a long absence and the garden must have been heaven to behold .. Mine is like a jungle..

Good morning, @Logan and all it's 14C here and it is coldish .. and dark. I will go out to the west facing gardener to weed or else the baking sun will render the job impossible.

Morning all....Thankfully I dont have too many weeds in the borders but grass can be a problem especially a deep rooted variety which seems to grow right up against the fence behind the bushes and a gardeners trowel is needed to extract them....can be a chore on occasion... Patiently waiting for my Primula vialii to make an appearance :)

Morning all......back from the beach with nephew's dog. Cloudy, misty but warm. :)
How about ajuga BigC for your creeping evergreen? I like arabis ferdinandi coburgii, a variegated evergreen spreader too:)

I haven't had much luck with Primula vialii. Bought them reduced and they flowered and then died. Planted out my alstroemeria dandy candy. To me, it looks like Indian Summer, gazannias, a dark sedum. Hope all the bees come a-buzzing on them as well as the eryngiums.

@BigC Would love to have your garden ..

Stipa Gigantea - elegant and understated, especially when its seed tail are swaying in the breeze - romantic and poetic

Love this delphinium -
