Good morning folks..........wet here today and windy. Feels more like October! (n)
You were lucky Logan......when blackbirds get past blueberry net here they feast FAST. Mind you cornish blueberries taste so much better of course.......maybe its the clotted cream that grows with them (y)

@alp I've still got loads of redcurrants to pick. Picked 40lb so far. Same for the white currants.
12lb gooseberries,12lb black currants. Logan berries only 5lb, but i don't have so many plants. So far I've picked 7lb of blueberries.
Walked barely for the first time this morning, he was very good. Starting to get my confidence back now.went round the wooded area called a copice. Missed all the buttercups that line the path. Everything else has gone to seed.

Coming up to the houses now.

The copice divides the industrial estate from the houses. All the dog owners walk their dogs here.

Having breakfast now.. Just come back from collecting some pea shingles. Goosh, they are so heavy ...The owners are old and frail.. In 2 minds whether to go there to get some more or not.

@Verdun Cheeky boy, why didn't you just say Verdun's blueberries tasted so much better!:D

@Logan Glad that you've got your mojo back. Slowly building it up is best. Is Barley more ready to go for walks now?

Plus been advising my nephew about his insurance claim on his laptop. Back and forth but already his offer has increased by almost £700. Should claim 10% agent's commission;)
Rain eased off now....feel sorry for holiday makers down here but I guess we have warmer rain!

@Verdun My ex told me that he paid less than me and he had mobile and foreign phone numbers included and we have the same provider. I also saw a BT offer, so I phoned mine and he came down with £1. Every little helps. Good for you. Nowadays, our priorities in shopping really have changed. Broadband and some people even think netflix are important.

Just tell you, sometimes in life, you do have to be nasty and sharp or companies rip you off as if you were a mug.

I had a kitchen fitter. He stayed the night with his girlfriend and his own house was burgled. He argued against repairs to the frame of his broken Upvc windows. In the end, he bragged about getting £14k from the insurers.. I reckon I must be paying for his claim. No wonder he said to me my little kitchen should have a £15k kitchen. Some people are so mad. If I bought my kitchen for £2000, how can I justify spending £15k for installation or even including the kitchen? You've done well, Verdun. But see if you can get £900 or more if it is a mac! Make sure he doesn't get an exact replacement as most computer will have been outdated. I love my Toshiba. Don't buy hp as it is rubbish..

Hey alp...haggling is my middle name! I haggle for everything and cannot understand why more people dont have a go. Nothing to lose and I even think I get respect from the sellers/retailers/suppliers/providers.
My nephew has now been offered the latest specs machine.......apple are notorious for price fixing but our deal is with the insurers hence the haggling :)
Currently having an issue with kwik fit.....they supposedly recharged air con for a friend but we now know it wasnt done properly. I am demanding refund, the cost of an air con elsewhere plus compensation. They are considering our demand for £194.....every reason to think we will :). Fun n games (y)
Hp, "rubbish"? My desktop is HP as is my printer....superb. The former is old, the latter new. Cannot fault them
Agree with you though about guys trying to swindle insurers .....the rest of us have to pay higher premiums then
After a pretty wet day the sun is now out and it is warm

I have hp printer and the ink cartridges dry up in no time. I wish they were whisky which I can drink. They just dried up after a few prints. I bought it for the deaf elderly neighbour. I have complained to one of the big six and asked him if he wanted compensation. He said he's not that sort of person. I personally want to see it punished. The man is old, deaf and they charged him over £1000 a year for his gas. If the company didn't get penalised, they will do the same to other elderly vulnerable people. After printing one 2 pages, and haven't used it for a year (exactly) the inks have dried up..

I've started the interwoven split bamboo backing to the Pergola but gave up due to tiredom...But you can clearly see where I am going with this...Please dont be to hyper critical just yet until it's finished....I'm in two minds myself about wether I made the right choice on this aspect....but I'll ride with it to completion ..The whole surrounding area needs re-organising, scapeing and lighting..at least I've made a start..Yes @alp I'll keep you informed on the planters when I make them...still in the planning stage.
Regards

Think it will look nice once you painted it the same colour. Gee, you've taken up weaving .. too..

The whole thing looks very nice. The £60 for Tamiko is money well spent. Certainly, gives the place a spirit ..

Not sure if I want to paint it @alp. opting to keep it's natural colouration, but a test piece will conform one way or the other...Yeah..I had to buy this piece as soon as I saw her...she fits in with the theme. but a lot more to be done, gravel. water, stone and planting :)..more sleepless nights
