I cook whatever I have to hands. Today, noodles with tons of green and a courgette from my garden. Courgette is lovely.

Great Photos as always @alp good to see the Pieris in there.
Ok just finished in the garden another late nighter :) I have finished weaving, just to tidy up round the edges...I'm glad I continued on as I really am growing to like this now (and thats without the planting scheme...I also dashed out to get some solar lighting to illuminate the structure, nothing too bright...cheap as chips...gutter lighting £3 each and 2x stake lights 89p each...again not the brightest on the planet but I dont need high power.....I take some more images when I have installed everything for now I need to have a good tidy up :)...see what you think guys...looks a little better than the vantage point in the Bamboo Garden @alp..if I may say so hahahahahaha

I'm not that tired. Watching a Spanish film called Sleep Tight. It's about a psycho who sneaks under a woman's bed every night and drugs the poor girl and does what he wants with her. It's so slow so I fast forwarded and he has killed the woman's boyfriend and escaped being caught. The woman burst into tears after reading a letter from him, telling her that her baby is his... Very gruesome.

Not tired, but so cold that I'd rather dive into my duvet. As @Logan says, summer is over!

@BigC Such lovely handiwork! So she's sitting above the pond? Why didn't you use full image as it is such a labour of love and full image will enable us to see it so well. With the weaved bamboo, now the pergola is much more substantial.. Really admire your passion and skills.. Solar light best buys is poundshop. I have one which is still going - about 5 years old or even more.

Now, that's much better.

Morning all.
@BigCt that looks great. As Alp said,i could see it better with a full picture. You weaved that bamboo as if it was bought like that.Did you have to soak it before you weaved it?Well done.
Hopefully pick some blueberries and blackberries. Hospital gym this afternoon for physio. Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning all....have you slept in @Logan :)
Today I'm off to the Docs to sort out this hand trouble its getting increasingly worse (pins and needles) could be Carpal Tunnel but I dont know...what I do know its worsening, painful and taking longer to pass....Then I will be doing a bit of relief babysitting for my daughter as they are off to a wedding...(only until the wife finishes work I might add) I couldn't last a full day with screaming kiddies now :)....at about 4pm I'll be back home to complete the Pergola Yipee...(well at least install the lighting ..Have a great day folks

Thank you @Logan...I'm beginning to like it myself now its near completion..No I didn't need to soak it, its pliable enough as split bamboo. I bought it as a wired screen 2 metres by 4 metres and dissected it to get the nicest widest and straightest canes out. Here is a larger image of front, I hope you can see better from this how I completed the task. Its 3 canes down (any wider and it would be harder to thread) and 4 canes across, the gaps are approximately 1 inch..Bloomin Frogs have brought Duckweed to the pond...I managed to keep it clear for well over a year, that will be another task now hahahaha Regards C....
PS Your fruit growing hoard is second to none...cant beat wild fruits in the garden...unfortunately I dont have enough....My chillis (Apache) are red ripe now and I will be making some sauce and saving the seeds for next season...its a small bush plant and seems to be coping better with the greenhouse conditions better than most so I may as well grow what likes it the best

:) Breakfast....I have Alpen most mornings but with some of your wild fruit that would make it extra special...Glad you like the structure...will post some pics at dusk this evening hopefully with the lighting installed...I've a few more wee finishing touches I would like to add before I start dressing it with plants and gravel etc...The hands are a worrying factor at the moment...I dont do doctors as a rule..the wife has a lot on to get me to go...so when I do go its usually quite severe...lol...but I'll be fine I'm sure lol

For Carpal Tunnel, you could look at these video

and many more

@BigC おはようございます

I do know a little bit Japanese. But the Kanji, katagana, hiragana were driving me mad.. They are so difficult. I gave up, just as my French.

@BigC take good care of yourself, space out the work and enjoy life as pains and ailments are the killjoys of life.

Good morning, @Logan Going to do some weeding whilst the ground is still wet. Still have quite a bit of blueberries to pick.

@BigC Breakfast- I have porridge made with water, with oat bran and wheat bran, loads of fruit and from the garden. Hubby has shredded wheat with muesli, oat bran and the same fruit. Also we have ground flax seed. He doesn't have alpen, the stores own brand without the nuts. He's got to the age where his teeth are not very good.

Very nice indeed..I have mine with a natural yogurt poured over the muesli but minus all your glorious fruit...would love blueberries in the mix :)
