They must be very expensive. I myself would like a granite lantern, the white and black one.

not totally authentic I might add @alp but it was my first attempt and in reality it didn't turn out too bad...some things I would change for the next one.....and also I'm thinking of making my own planters...keep an eye out for that thread when I get the chance to construct it :)

Hubby's going to get some more compost for me this morning, be able to pot on my wallflowers this afternoon. I do have a lot though and it's going to take some time. :)
Did you get all done what you intended to get done @Logan lol

Well I managed to pick up a 2 x 4 metre bundle of split bamboo this evening for a good price..Plan is to dissect this screen from its wiring and make my own interwoven background to the Pergola...for now I have to sit down and work out the spacing's...I also bought some gutter and stake type solar lighting to enhance the mood around this small pond area....PS solar lighting items are a real bargain buy this time of year many can be had for less than 1 beer token :)

@BigC not all of it. Do some more wallflowers today, pick more redcurrants and blueberries. The black birds managed to find a way into the blueberries, but didn't eat any. The youngsters like to hide.

Gooood morning. Grey here and road work again outside. I'm surprised you still have so many more fruits to pick, @Logan ! Well done. Need to take more cuttings. A lot of dahlias are showing buds.

@BigC When you make your planters, please show us your sketches. Would love to follow it. I mean My SON, not me. That split bamboos lookice.

Here are some of my OWN flowers

A crazy delphinium, shoot up to 9 feet? I used the swing given by my elderly neighbour as a climbing frame.

Here's a little delphinium

This one is dramatic

My dinner plate could be frost tips from last year. I pulled the stem, and then cursed myself, thinking there will be so eyes in the tubers. What a relief that it comes up to say Hello, I AM HERE!

It introduced me to the beauty of dinner plate dahlia and had been sent by mistake - I was supposed to have Blue Bayou..

So I have had NO Blue Bayou this year, AGAIN!

I really love this collarette - the soft colours are so pleasing
