It's drizzling here. My wallflowers are doing alright. Did 226, 34 didn't come up. Even though i put 4 in each.

I've got a currant plant growing in between the slabs, right up against the greenhouse. Hubby says leave it there, but he hasn't realised how big it grows.

GOOD MORNING ALL
What's the algae cultivation for, @BigC ? I know I'm nosy!
Algae (Chlorella sp.) I grow is for food for very small fish fry, Daphnia and Moina
I wont go into the lengthy process of describing each stage of production and the apparatus used rather than just offer a few images of its development below...The lighting unit is home made but the acrylic cylinder is a purpose built Aquamedic Phytoplankton Reactor...one was quite adequate for my needs but you can have a series of these if you so wish depending on how much you require. It probably can be considered as single celled plant matter so its not out of place here :)

@Upsy Daisy Glad that you have a day to yourself. Now all my pots are in trays with rainwater, I have the new worries that their roots might rot. Can't win. Too hot and my thornless berry canes have been killed and now I am worried about roots/bulbs rotting.

yes, i sowed them in toilet rolls, so i know how many.
Whilst a very good upcycling idea...I have to wonder at how one amasses that amount of roll cores....I think you should change your diet hahahahahahahahaha

Funny old morning outside...sunshine then overcast and vice versa maybe keep the hot house closed for most of the day and see if it can inject a bit of heat into it...I have to visit the garden centre later for some small canes for the cucumbers and resist the urge to buy anything else, but you never know hahahaha. Watch this space for a little overview on the propagator I bought yesterday, later on today...as I have to get this toybox finished first for next weekends trip to the mainland, (to deliver it). sorry if its not gardening related but there is a rake beside it hahahaha ...check back in with you all later.....In the mean time enjoy the weekend everyone
