@BigC You're obviously very knowledgeable. Reverse Osmosis - a term I came to know when I was teaching my son Science. Any way, I have emailed a vineyard for you and see if they are nice enough to reply.
Many thanks @alp, hopefully something will turn up on hows best to treat the vine...this is very much appreciated.
Aye... Reverse Osmosis....I mix it with rainwater for certain difficult species that I breed...that need very soft water low in TDS...

Tonight I got my little artists paintbrush and continued to manually pollinate the Tomato plants...I took some pics whilst I was about the Hot House (although not so HOT today :)
Plum Type (top left)
Alicante (btm left)
Beefsteak (far right)
They all seem to be doing very well at present...Still raining outside and very much cooler than it has been recently...hope the weather picks up soon as I'll be in Wales and England for a couple of weeks and you'll probably find me in quite a few garden centres.....Our front doorstep (concrete slaps) needs replacing so I'll be hunting down some Yorkshire Stone for that little job (my wife is from West Yorkshire) so that will fit in nicely.
I may also have won an auction on the Bay of Fleas...for a push along Qualcast lawnmower of which I only need the grassbox (and the machine will come in for spares) so I'll have that to pick up...good job I'm taking the van over hahahaha

I always do a patch up job. Couldn't get a path level. Even the raised bed frames are wonky.. My tomatoes have just come into flowers whilst yours are street ahead. I might bring some indoors to speed up the process. I love the distinctive smell of tomato plants.

@BigC your tomatoes look great, the large tomatoes always do better in a hot House. Tried growing them outside, but needed a longer season. I grow the cherry ones now. I've got cucumbers and chillies in the conservatory.

Good morning everyone...Yes the tomatoes are comming on leaps and bounds I too love the smell for some strange reason @alp :) dont worry about wonkyness, its an art form in some cases and really adds that quirky feel to a garden that makes it uniquely YOU..... @Logan I am going to buy a little heated propagator to get my chilli seeds going indoors as I have all the hottest var. and upon reading up on the subject, the hotter the Chilli the higher temps they need to germinate, well the Greenhouse temps are fluctuating between 60-80 on a good day at the moment and lower at night so I think I will start them off indoors on a windowsill in a heated environment. Its my first year with the chilli, sweet pepper and baby cucumber so its all still a learning process. If the fruit and veg come up to last years standards I'll be more than pleased.....Note to ones self.....I need some small Bamboo Canes this weekend as well as the propagator....memory like a sieve :)
