Hahaha yes @Logan its the easiest thing in the world but I always put too much seed down....must remember to rein back next year...but it tastes delish...One thing I do notice with homegrown lettuce is that it dont keep....When we buy a packet from the supermarket, use a little and store in the fridge....I cant do this with my home produce, it just goes to mush the next morning....must be because of the prolonging shelf life gas they inject into those packets....they could be killing us ...anyway home grown always tastes nicer...its not physiological either...I tasted my own toms last year against supermarket tasteless and bland varieties and mine (not blowing own trumpet by any means) were a lot lot better for flavour for some reason@BigC the Lettuce looks great.I always grow Lettuce leaves.
Some foreigners (4 of them) asked me, separately, if I wanted to have my front jet cleaned. I just could not get rid of them. In the end, I said I was only a lodger.. so fed up with these people. I said no, and he said he would give me a discount. I said I didn't want to waste his card as it would go straight to the bin, he just would not take no for an answer. In the end, I left it on the ground. You can even weed your garden in peace.
