@alp yes i did, thanks. I was in a lot of pain and couldn't go. I went private to see a specialist, because i would have to have waited a year to see one. Then i had to wait 3 months to have the treatment. That was in the 80s, so the NHS hasn't changed over the years.

Morning all
Well that's the elections done and dusted...... now the fun begins!.

I fully sympathise with you @Logan, I too have suffered with problems for many years like you, finally had surgery 18mths ago and now have to take daily meds but.....touch wood...all now seems absolutely fine:)(y). My mum had the same too:(. I was seen and operated on within 9 wks...NHS too(y)

I was so surprised at how well my Cosmos survived in the winds this week, no casualties at all:D.

Do you know @alp , you've just reminded me......I must hunt for my Rudbeckias....... forgot that I had even planted them out!!:eek:

Have a Frightfully Fabulous Friday !

@Upsy Daisy thanks. Glad that you're better now. I was advised not to have a y more children. It turned out that i didn't, but that's another story. Good that your cosmos did ok. Still got to put my cosmos out, might be a bit late, got to tidy things up first. With the weather and my knee that might be some time.

@tbendl @MaryMary Can you hear us?.. We miss you!

We need some tonic to divert us from the bad election result. Hard to say.. The Tories ruined by Cameron and Osborne, look after their wealthy bankers, and CEO chums. Small shops have to pay huge rate instead of it being raised gradually and the small shops had to flee from the high street. Any way, best go back to gardening...

@tbendl might be busy working...

Thank you all. I hope @Larisa can tell me what the names of the streptocarpuses are.. I've lost all my labels.

Today we had veg curry again, but it was the most delicious so far! Yummy. I shouldn't have cooked so much earlier during the day...
