@Larisa I'm on the whole fine, just my legs bother me a bit. Compared with @Upsy Daisy , I should not complain. I am one like that - make a lot of noise to get everything out of my system. Very selfish of me.

I bought mine on ebay and it took me 3 years to see the flowers. Yours is the Europeana. They are pretty but when I saw these orange ones in Chelsea Flower Show, I fell in love with them straight away. I was told that they needed moisture and shady area. I have only one corner which is a bit moist and it used to be covered with hellebores. From last year onward, after I joined gardening forum, I started watering them. I am a very lousy person who tries to do gardening. This year, I have finally got about 10 flowers from 3 plants. Very pleased with them. If you can buy them, do so as they are so beautifully and they are called Flame thrower, a very apt name.

Love yours as well. Thank you for sharing your photo with us.

@alp don't be so hard on yourself, you've had a lot of work on your hands with all that heavy stuff you've had to tackle on your own. I really admire your determination.:):)(y)

@Upsy Daisy You mustn't admire me... as I just keep falling asleep:eek::eek:... Haha!

Forgot to bring in a tray of seedlings. Hope it's still there tomorrow It's only now I realise that I haven't sown a lot of seeds. My seed box is still full. What a failure I have been this year. Too cold, air too dry .. too hot..

@Larisa That' a lovely Trollius, wonder what it is called. Very beautiful orange.

wonder what it is called.

I dont know. But I appreciate that it blossoms well in the shade. There's only sun in the morning and in the evening. Between the bushes of a Trollius I planted an Astilbe. When the Trollius completes flowering, starts to bloom Astilbe.

Good morning all: @Logan How are you today? So nice to be mobile and with the whole house to yourself. But take your time please,

You're quite right, @Larisa . My astilbe has just come up with flowers and they are a bit further down the path where it is not so hot. I think it is a good idea to use the trollius and astilbe as companion plants. Just as you have observed they flower one following another.

Today is Election day! Vote please for those in the UK!

Astilbe does like a lot of moisture, OH used to have it.Yes it's nice to have a bit of quiet and I'll be glad when the elections are over. OH always been a labour supporter, but not this time. I know now how you manage with gardening. Have a good day.

Hi, @Zenj! Welcome!

You do like your challenge, don't you? What a lovely flower! I I have found out that to get the seeds to germinate is the easy bit. But how to keep them alive to good size in hot and droughty Essex is another story. I have bought some blue Meconopsis and so far they are still alive. Those tiny ones I raised from seeds seem to have disappeared.

What do you think I should do with the campanula seeds you have sent me. It seems to be too late or should I stratify them? I have missed the time .. I was looking at the packet yesterday. We dont' have a homage gif here! What a shame!

I'm sitting here waiting for some delivery.
