@Zenj It does look a bit pinkish. When the flower gets a bit more mature, it may turn orange. Please let me have a look again when it is orange.

I still have sweet pea seeds from you growing, but so far no flowers yet. I had one lone clematis and now I don't even know where it's gone. My clematis Princess Kate is no where to be found ... I am scandalous and hopeless :eek::eek::cry::cry::cry:

@CrazyConure We virtually fight with one another .. Haha .. I know them as much as I know you .. Virtual friends .. If you're nice, we will fight with you as well...:ROFLMAO::p:D

Do you want to take it outside? LOL! When I argued with my son, he did answer me with that. I felt like whacking him. But of course, I had to repeat again and again that words like these should never come out of his mouth.. After giving him a stiff telling off, I had to conclude the lecture with LOVE you!

I hope @Larisa can tell me what the names of the streptocarpuses are..

@alp
I looked at the Russian forum, but it's really difficult. A lot of similar.
Our girls are fans of streptocarpus, see all the nuances. They discuss the clarity or vividness of the pattern on the petals, the peculiarity of the petals themselves, the shades of color and even the leaves. :D
Some varieties look the same for me, but they see the difference. :)
Did you buy streptocarpus or grew from seeds?
Seeds can not pass a variety.
One thing I can tell you with complete certainty is streptocarpus!

And also that they are similar to Lucy, Geronimo, Fendi.:)

Now my new impatiens blooms. It shines with neon light.

That's a lovely impatiens! The colour is so vibrant. I bought most of my strepts, but I propagated them using leaves as well. I also used my own seeds which is quite easy once you know the trick. But it's too hot for them here and once their leaves wilt, I have jitters. I love and hate strepts with equal gusto.. Too buggy, too fussy and I don't have the atmosphere for them. I just put all of the them in a shoebox in a hot and bright room with a bit of water and I can't be bothered even if they die. They don't die in the shoebox. It's when I exposed them to the elements here i e dry and hot, they wilted very readily and ANOTHER ONE BITE THE DUST! They are pretty, especially the Polish and DS .. I wouldn't buy them again if they died. I like plants like helleborus, campanula pink octopus .. tough as old boots and yet reliable and beautiful ..

@Larisa Never heard of the name. I love the way the flowers are arranged. And the 2nd one look like those hydrangea flowers. Love the first two. Let me get the name read so that I know how to pronounce it and see if I can get seeds.

When our car was stuck outside a primary school, I was struck by how difficult some children's names are to pronounce.. If I were the teacher, I would brush as those names are not pronounceable in English...

I know roughly more about them. Thank you for the introduction. Lovely photos you have. I need flowers like these - low maintenance and long living...

@CrazyConure @Upsy Daisy has put it very well. We just love to natter and if you like to natter, just join in whenever you feel like it. We exclude nobody .. and everybody is welcome... So when you feel like it, just drop in and say hello. After all, that is how we come to know each other. You can ask @Larisa ..

I'm not very keen on that Chiltern seeds. Bought some seeds and the results have been disappointing. I must say strepto flowers are much better looking and that probably explains why your girls like them. They are indeed gorgeous. Hopefully when I have a new place, I could indulge them with different aspects than the ones I have. There are no windows on the south or north side and the heat from the setting sun was too much for them. The dryness does not help as all streptos like a bit of moisture .. Thank you for the link. Like the way you solve problems, just like me... Google and bingo .. there's the link...

@Upsy Daisy That's because you're a good gardener. That's why the tubers grew so quickly.

To grow dahlia from seeds is one of the most rewarding exercises as they flower the same year and unless the slugs get them, they usually put up a good show.
