Good morning, Logan et al! Cold but not so cold as the few days before. Another viewing this afternoon so a lot needs to be tidied up. The fig cuttings I freegled have new leaves, but not sure about the roots. Did some gala apple cuttings and will do something else later as one tree is simply far too tall. Another grey day perhaps.

Viewing finished. Don't think they need a garage or such a big garden. Very nice couple!

Love the Salvia Hotlips. Still quite a few flowers! And with a deep red!

Alp still lovely flowers, all I've got are a few polyanthus and a few roses.

Shame about your house veiwing.

Keith was in good spirits today.

Just made notes of the fruit that the garden produced this year.

Pink currants 8lb
Blackcurrants 18lb
Redcurrants 60lb
White currants 28lb
Rhubarb 54lb
Raspberries 9lb
Gooseberries 34lb
Logan berries 5lb
Plums 12lb
Black berries 14lb
Cooking apples 44lb
Blueberries 37lb
Didn't have so many plums, forgot to pick them, but had a lot of trouble with wasps.
Never have a lot of raspberries
Had a good crop of gooseberries, they do better in the front garden and ripened before the wasps got at them.
Had to leave a lot of red and white currants on the bushes, didn't have any more room in the freezer, still got last year's, now using a lot more in puddings.
Blueberries were a bumper crop.

Amazingly bountiful harvest(y):D. I need to get some wood ash. How many extra freezers have you got:eek:, Logan?

Got two more butts and they have FLAT bottoms, unlike the one I bought from Wilko. I didn't even notice the dented bottom. Because of that, the wind toppled it and one day, the whole 230L of water poured onto the border and the bamboo shot up a foot that year.

Oh, dear! I need to bring indoors the cannas!

Thank you, I've got 2 small chest freezers upstairs full of fruit. In the kitchen got a upright freezer for the other foods, but the fruit overflows to that one as well. Haven't got room for the extra turkeys that we get this time of year to last the whole of next year.

Shame about your water butts, but good about your bamboo. Ours had a hole form in them, last winter when they froze they expanded and the base stuck into it. Got some sort of fixing holes tape,it's worked. Thing is have to dry it out, then get inside to put the tape on and outside of it.

Yes have to get your cannas in.

In order to make the house smell nice for the viewing, brewed 2 round of coffee with the cafetiere and now I'm paying for the price. I had hardly slept a wink. Now, I have woken up the son as well. Now doing my laundry and the breadmaker is groaning.

Ooops! I have beaten you to it, Logan! 2nd round of laundry and had to manually bring it to an end as in my Bosch washing machine, there are probably 60 seconds in a minute! It just would NOT stop! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Bought such a headache.

We always use Economy 7 to make our bread. Cheaper and quieter. It takes 5 hours to make the bread! Finally finished 2 rounds of laundry. Can you believe it. from 2.30 to 6am. All thanks to the faulty Bosch! It was stuck on 0.01 for more than 3 minutes. I had to manually end it. Next time I need a timer to use this machine or I will go broke. Might go to bed again after breakfast! Crikey, going out in the dark for your dog! Not for me!

Yes of course i remember now that you use economy 7. We've got a indesit washing machine, 2 freezers it's a very good make.:)

Yes can't make them wait until it's light, but i won't go out when the lamps are off and hubby won't let me. They come on at 5.30 so that's alright. But I'm doing breakfast and have to brush my teeth.:)

On my washing machine i got a 50 min wash, that includes the rinsing, but the spin is low so i change it to the high after it's finished.:)

Hope you've gone back to bed.:)

Next time when people have freezer to give away, I might go for it. Been dozing off after dinner. It's not so cold now, but the prediction is that we can have very cold weather before Christmas. Hope they are talking about Scotland only.

I just feel like having a fish and chips or a kebab right now. Haven't had one for a long time. There has been no rain at all the whole day. Thought we were drowning in it yesterday. The weather report was so useless. Didn't go out today at all. Son was so interested at looking at the houses. I had to tell him that unless we have sold this one, there is no point driving half an hour to see any!

Alp, when we were selling our our other house, only had 2 to view it. The second one bought it but, we hadn't found anything, then it was panic to find something. But already looked at this one outside and had another look.Id look at them and see if you could put in a offer on the one that you like. They might wait for you to find something. They might be in the same position as you.:)
Speak to you later.:)
