Logan I will mix it as I don't have a lot. After a lot of mixing, it will be OK.

@DirtMechanic - so you see, the narrators invariably use the word laying wrong as laying takes an object, a conscious effort on the part of the person putting himself in an horizontal position. A victim simply doesn't have the choice to lay down.

But I could be wrong .. Thank you for the valiant effort! Don't leave Becky in the cold, young man! Netflix too good, I guess!?:LOL:

I will make sure the combined effort will not produce concrete! LOL!

I have woodchips, horse manure to add in as well.

Mixed the woodchips into turned over bed. Repotted the thornless blackberry and apple tree. Going to graft them into one next March. Tomorrow I will construct a structure for the branches to spread out - espalier!

Went to Homebase and saw nothing but Christmas trees, some violas and primrose and nothing else. Got some bargains in B&Q

Can't resist another pot of anemone for £1

£1 for a pink wisteria

£3 for a black grape vine

Hope I can get a white wisteria now.

Went to view a bungalow where everything needs to be gutted. Even the garden is undulating like sea waves:eek:, but surprise, surprise, it has a mature finely palmated acer with seeds:D. A mature daphne:D, a seed bearing agapanthus, and even a healthy looking fern! One conclusion - all the room sizes are more generous in this borough!

Good morning all, @alp lovley plants that you got. That bungalow could have been owned by a old person/s. There's one up the road, we know that the old gentleman has gone into a home and now it's empty. The garden hasn't been done in years, he said so himself. Don't know what's going to happen to the property. His car has been out there for months and months, his nephew tried to start it but it won't go. I sometimes speak to the neighbour, that's how i found out.

This morning washing my hair and this afternoon tidy up some of the blackberries. The grey bin is being emptied this morning so i can refill it.:ROFLMAO:

Was very disappointed with the thornless blackberry as it has not had one fruit. I have now repotted it and buried some more stems and hopefully, it will bear fruit next year.

Now I realise why people are not too keen on wisterias as they might collapse even the most robust of structures. But it's so nice to have one of pink colour.

Oh dear, it should next year. I've got most of mine in the ground.Over the years they do spread with runners, but not as bad as raspberries. I know you have yours in pots because of moving. Got Loganberries started off with 1 now I've got 3, but they've been there a long time. But they do grow well and send out a lot of new stems.

I've got 2 blackberries in large containers, the roots come out of the bottom and root in the spaces in the patio.

Didn't do anything in the garden and walked to and fro the town centre and each trip took me 50 minutes. Amazed how some snapdragons looked so beautiful outside people's houses. The pompon dahlias have been had by the frost this time. Took some pear cuttings from someone's house. Shame they never ate their pears and left them to rot and they have now hacked the tree to half of its size. I grafted some onto a comice pear tree. Hope they took. If they don't, I have nothing to loose.

afternoon , planted some more allium and daffs when I got home from work , also got the euphorbia black pearl and pittosporum erene paterson planted in the front garden along with allium purple rain.. Move the Ligularia Little rocket in the back garden where a recently dug up a astible, I give the astible away to one of my clients :).

The blackberry might fruit on one year + old wood ? I don't grow them so not sure.

What are you going to do with all these wisteria Alp ? They are one of my favorite plants but can't find the room for more

Perki I'm typing with frozen fingers. Wait, let me get a cup of hot tea first.

Now, that's better. It's so cold here! I will find a house with 100 foot garden or at least one front and one back garden of 60 to 80 foot long. Was supposed to view one, but didn't go as travelling all the way to Wickford to view one house was just too much. This house has a garden 110 feet long. And I will graft all my fruit trees comes March. Hopefully, I can have one tree with 4 different types of fruits. Incidentally, the allium bulbs in Lidl are reduced to £1.79. So I bought one allium giganteum. I might travel to Ilford to see if they have any left. Last time, we went there, there were tons left. But I hate going west as it's like a warzone where people are pushy and will push their cars out regardless. It's not somewhere I look forward to going to.

I have several wisterias but they are on a trellis and the tendrils just go round and round and I layered some into the compost and have 2 new ones using this method. Might sell them as I live along a busy road.

I am keeping my allium purple sensation seeds for the new place (Ah! When will that be??) I did sell 2 lots, much to my amazement. Only bought one packet of tulips and when the bulbs are reduced, will get more English Blue Bells. Wallflowers self seeded themselves and I have already spotted quite a few. No hard work on my part! You must be jealous, Logan!
