Fine this morning with a unexpected frost. Its lashing it down now, lots of rain forecast off the week.

The suit hire were £100 I put half to , they all got to be the same or they will be a very unhappy bride :rolleyes:. I haven't wore a full suit for 20 years give are take.

We are raining too. According to the weather charts, it's drifts of neon blues and garish yellows interspersed by greens.

I predict a very unhappy marriage as it seems to me someone is bossy and must have her way or the highway. Mark my words. Or your friend likes to be under someone's thumb. Perki, stay away from woman like this! LOL! Enjoy the cake, foods and drinks and see if you can find a woman like the lady in The Beechgrove Garden's farm experiment! Really like their ethos. Have you decided on how much to give? I would say £15 and a plant. Might not last long!

Are you the best man? Now, that might be different.

Can't remember exactly how much,but it's about £10.00 for a 500g sack.

I have to say I hate creepy crawlies! I remember going to a cowshed and saw hundreds of snakes intermingled together and they had banded strong colours. I was so horrified and I was only small. It must be their mating season. Why are mating practices so horrible!? Foxes' scream made me think someone was in hell screaming to get out or someone was being murdered!

@Perki £50 sounds fine. :)

I don't have trouble with the squirrel burying the nuts, i've got 2 containers with just old compost in and he goes in there. Sometimes he'll plant them in the border or the grass/lawn.:)

Don't think it's going to last. If you send a bit of money and a bit of a plant, who is to work out how much. Besides, it's all sentimental and it's the friendship, or bond that is important. To ask for the same uniform for a day is just too much. She certainly knows what she wants and asks for it regardless of others. Back home and nearly 15 years ago, my sister asked me for £800 for my niece's wedding. In the end, I sent £1000. Any way, sad they still have no children and nearly 40 years old. Only one boy got married, 2 others and 2 other girls are still not married. Sad, I would send £100 if they do, not £800 though!

I have squirrels traversing my lawn every day. Peanuts everywhere. Shop up the road must have chucked a lot of them.

Lovely wildlife spots, Logan! Love it. I always want to film them, but of course, by the time I am now, it's gone. It has stopped raining! Got to go to the post office again. Just enough to pay for my lost bus pass! :cry::cry::cry:

Evening all, there's a path at the back of our house with bushes and trees. This afternoon just came out with barley and heard a loud crash sound at the back of the house.a small tree that had ivy growing in it got blown down over the path. If I were a few minutes earlier I would have been there. Went back home and hubby phoned the council and they came out straight away. They have a policy to do that.
