I have one shade of grey! No rain. How annoying! Have been out making room for the mini shelves. Hard work. Tomorrow will be the day we shred all the leaves. Was told that the clock fast forwards.

100L and I paid £17 or £14. I was and am so crazy!

Went out and bought a Sour grapes. I know I am hopeless. £2.75 is OK. I will take some cuttings. From 3pm we worked till 5.45. The two shelves were out. Tomorrow, I am going to put the pots outside and will clean the lean to and start painting it. A very dismal day, but productive.

Just finished watching GW. Wonder where my tithonia seeds have gone. They flower so late, but the colour is incredible.

I like tithonia but they grow so tall and a lot of foliage.
You should get yourself a tin to put your seeds in.

Yes, they have a wide girth, just like me! Not very nice as I prefer them compact. LOL!

Thank you for the messages Logan & Alp. :)

Went for a gentle stroll to Wyevale today with the £5 voucher, got two Eryngium planum's 9cm.. for free!

I've also been cheeky and borrowed a friend's membership card to use tomorrow at a different store ;) may get some more Allium Purple Sensation or another D. Bishop of Llandaff.. or Wildflowers hmm but you're right they are literally 2x the price of the other GCs, so would never usually shop there at all

Good morning to all: Mark, that is a bargain. Make sure they self seed everywhere. They will jump to the front of the queue regardless of their height; but they are indeed a bee magnet and are spectacular.

Hope you get out more. The fresh air and gentle exercise and flowers will cheer you up!

Good morning to all. It's a grey old day again. Woken up by the alarm and thought it was earlier. All my plans of shredding the leaves, mowing the floor were thrown into disarray!

Morning all,
@Mark56 , hope things improve soon ,take it easy and don't rush things :)(y)

Still have a sore eye from yesterday, think a bit of soil or something went in it while I was in the garden and despite hubs telling me to go in and rince it.....I didn't .....think as I rubbed at it too much and now have a scratch there:(

Have a lovely Sunday!

Oh, dear! That's not funny. I had that happened to me 3 times this year, and none before. Must be age-related! LOL!

You must rinse it asap. Son got me water and helped me rinse it. Very annoying. I blinked and blinked hoping the blinking might flush it out. Ask you hubby to see if the soil is still in there please! Better safe!

Never expect the first summer time day to be so dreary!

Yes, £9.30 on all the camellias with no buds, except one which was Silver anniversary which I bought for 99p from Home Bargains when they moved shelves last year or the year before. Hope they move them soon!:LOL:

My Camellia Silver Anniversary has flowered profusely!
