clematis macropelata has sent out new roots in one buried branch. So pleased. I got two at £2 each last year.

That's great about your clematis, it's uplifting when things start to grow.

Planted the 2 lavender and divided a Michaelmas daisy, got 2 more plants. Did some of the lawn edging.

Gorgeous weather out there today, but cloud and rain are heading our way:(

Hubs is digging me a new border...:):):)!

So it was your birthday?! You naughty boy! Should have let us make a fuss over you. After all, it's a birthday!

The only birthday I hated was 30th. The rest has no meaning. Your parents must have cooked you a meal or so?

Did you really pinch your neighbour's land? LOL!

No wasn't my Bday when you asked, I rarely eat out either I am a fussy eater I just eat junk food instead without gaining any weight :p. I've been telling my parents since I was 18 I don't want anything for Bday or xmas.

I still working on how to expand the garden :sneaky: A allotment would be ideal but not miles away, think there all full anyway and there nowhere near enough allotments round here for the amount of people wanting one. I have been offered land by a few people to grow veg on but can't be bothered sorting out the land, and I have the feeling I got someone looking over my shoulder all the time, there's always a catch as well. I would like my own space.

Cloudy day again with a cold wind, still waiting for Spring :( at least I have some tete la tete daffs out now and the snowdrops looking good.

Hi all,

Just checking in, hope you are all well. Currently on rest and gentle exercise with 2 trapped nerves in my back on top of the spondylitis but trying to find light in the smallest things.. bees landing on the crocus & Pulmonaria. Desperate to get out to do catch up garden jobs but I just can't at present. Also noticed the Wyevale voucher came through today so may have to send my little helper there at the weekend although the pricing is ridiculously expensive unless they are reduced items.

@Upsy Daisy that's exciting, what are you going to put in it?:)

It's so nice to get on the garden and do things.:)

Not sure yet, only decided on it a couple of days ago. Hubs has ' mapped' it out, just has to lift some lawn ,dig it over add some compost. Probably just fill with summer bedding for a quick display this year......mind you I will have to sow a ton more seeds now . I have various perennials that I sowed last year so may include some of them. But will seriously plan and plant up later in the year after we complete on my brother's house move and alterations for his disability on his new place

Logan: my white French lavender seeds have germinated inside the big propagator and the recent sunshine has hurried things along a bit. We turned on the propagator at night to 17c and switched it off during day time.

Logan: You've done a lot. I emptied one crate so that I can take the mini shelves out and put them inside the tomato greenhouse and then I will paint the lean to. This's about the 4th painting job. Nightmare!

Went to Wyevale and bought 2 hellebores paying the lower price. £14 for one bud??? Some plants didn't even have one flower or have only one or two. Then I got the £5 voucher discount. So paid £11.99 for the two.

Camellias, azaleas and rhodo on promotion too. But the flowers were so boring. I should have a look at it when the voucher first came through.

Upsy: You're so brave. I walked for 10 mins and already the left leg hurt. Must do more.

Perki: Can you move? That's what I am dreading. Where can I find another house with 115foot garden and 40 foot front garden! It's a nightmare. No pressie for birthday. But next time let us fuss over you here! LOL!

Oh, dear! We are all in pain! The quality of life is not what it should be. When I walked in the garden, I couldn't do a straight line. No more moaning. So sorry for your trapped nerves. Pain is just beyond description. Not funny and compromises everything. You could get some Deep Heat with its methol to ease the pain a bit. Don't expect miracle, but a bit of relief is better than none.

Should have gone the first it came through. As I said earlier, buy 2 hellebores and pay the higher price and then £5 will be taken off. Camellia is 20% off. But those charging £9 were without bud, except one tiny one. So Wyevale is a pretty waste of time.

Upsy: thought you said you wanted to downsize?! You see when it comes to plants, you forget all your other plans! LOL!

@marlingardener Amazing that you have hummingbird feeding on such small flowers! Hope you upload some photos! That will make my day! All the Gregiis are tiny flowers. But they are so lovely. I can wait to see my salvias flowers - Royal Rumble, Hotlips, Joy, Moth's night, (nachvindler???), Amistad, Love and wishes. Hopefully, some electric blue ones.

In the park today

A very scared but quarrelsome dog! Not a goldie. What is that, Logan?
