@alp good job that you had the discount. That's great about your lavender seeds,I did some last autumn and left them outside, there's a few came up.

I would have liked to have done more in the garden but my very lower back was aching from stooping so i had to stop.

We've got a couple of rhododendrons in the back garden and azaleas, but through the years they've been slowly replaced with fruit.

In the park today

A very scared but quarrelsome dog! Not a goldie. What is that, Logan?
Can't see the video on my phone, got a message saying there's a error.
Yes it has to be a goldie, but i do like those Newfoundlands. Fancy having one of those in our house, they're bigger than goldies.

Could be your phone as I tested it here last night. Try to view it as there is a quarrelsome dog! LOL!

Son spent hours cleansing the laptop, saying that Opera was manned by some beast from the east, too!

So no more weather reporting.

Son worked out how to use Edge Browser to report weather. Thank you, son!

Yesterday, I worked solid and after 8.30pm, I was literally drifting in and out of consciousness in front of murder stories screened on TV. I have been desensitised to evil. I used to be on full alert and say, "How can human plunge to such abyss of evil?" Now, I pass out! LOL!

When I saw the price tag of nearly £10 and not a single bud on the camellias (not just one but all of the cheaper ones £9.30), I really think the nursery is just arrogant. I paid £2.99 for a tiny one without flowers in another nursery. £5.99 for one with flowers on. We just drive round and round!

Morning all, a tad gloomy looking outside today:(

Not sure what we are up to today, might go to get some perlite and visit my Dad again. He wants his larger greenhouse sorted out as its full of pond pumps etc. Both his greenhouses haven't been used since my Mum died .

Your video works fine for me @alp, as I said in my post last night the dog is a Labrador like my Dad's .

Have a Super Saturday

Yes I switched my phone off then on and it worked. That owner was taking a chance with that swan. It did look big compared to the dog.
I bet the dog thought that he should retrieve it somehow, being a labrador gun dog.

Sorry, the laptop was filled with garbled text and the anxiety was just too much. Son said the laptop was dead and I was so shocked. I couldn't tell the difference. But it is a handsome Labrador. The owner held the dog and dipped his legs into the lake 3 times. After that, the dog jumped with delight to show the owner that he enjoyed his dips. So hilarious!

My ex had the arduous duty of clearing out his parents' bungalow where they had lived 40 years. I can imagine the huge demanding task you have ahead of you! If you go for perlite, get the smallest. I saw that Monty used the smallest size, so did the owner of a nursery I visited. I ordered my perlite in 100kg bag and I still have another one.

Yes, but some nurseries perch on hill tops and enjoy panoramic views. I really love that. I reckon it must be fun to be on a bike like @johnny canoe or motorcycle like @Perki, zipping around and be in tune with nature. That feeling is better than money!

Some nurseries are in lovely places , makes it more of a day out doesn't it. And you get the added bonus of clean fresh air in your lungs @alp.:)(y)

Yes, especially when 2 of them have a 3 side panoramic views all over the area below. This is especially true in Bonnett's and the prices are reasonable. I got a blueberry for £7.99. Can't beat the fresh air which even my ebac can't give me. I'd love to have a place like that, perhaps in Ireland, or Scotland?? Too wet, too cold. But the views have got to be stunning. If I downsize, the garden is more important than the house, same as you, Upsy!
