@Leeski We have a panny and we just make bread every day for breakfast and lunch. We bought the wholemeal from Amazon and and sometimes waitrose, but waitrose only stock the wholemeal and the foul flour from Duchy you know who. It has a funny kind of unpleasant taste to it. So I don't buy it. I mainly use Bacheldre. But the flour brand name always start with

Bacheldre Organic ... and after trying to use subscribe and save and trying to find 5 items to increase the discount, my eyes literally blurred and brain foggy (it's an excuse as it is always foggy!) But I didn't want to use Amazon as our gift voucher balance disappeared from £11 to £0.16. It took me half a year of complaint and the CEO PAs kept saying I started with £40 gift voucher and ordered Shipton which cost £18. I sent them digital proofs and they still kept to the same tune. In the end, someone had a bit of integrity, but he offered me £10 refund. I wrote that I lost £11.43 or £11.34 and you offered me £10 refund. In the end, this person relented and I suggested £21. I was so aggrieved by the lies and the numerous complaints. So I got £21 gift voucher which I used to buy tons of flour as I am not a prime member and the blessed flour wouldn't be delivered until 1 month's time.

If you have gift voucher balance with Amazon, best is to use it all. It happened to me several times that the balance vanished into the void and this time, I had learned the lesson and took digital proofs but even that they kept lying - you started with £40 gift voucher balance and you ordered Shipton ..

Morning all, @alp glad that you got your refund. A lot of bread making for you to do, good that you've got your bread making machine.

You can use the stale bread for currant pudding, or give it to the birds, but soak it first.

Cold this morning,all the windows steamed up.
Still got a lot of wallflowers to do, done 230 plants but 2 in each.

@Leeski glad that your seedlings survived.

Morning all.
Sadly days off seem to fly by but work days linger....strange!:( Pity it's not the other way round..

In the middle of sorting out and deciding on next year's sowings.The plan is ( and my plans usually go astray!) Is to do more direct sowing and use the ' winter sowing ' method more this time ..like I use to a few years back.For some reason I seem to have reverted back to having seed trays in the house during the late winter and ear!y spring months.......not sure why really:unsure:

Have good day!:)(y)

230 wallflowers!:eek::eek::eek: I think I have 230 hellebores!:LOL::LOL::LOL:

I will use it every single day until it becomes funny. I love this flour and I kept the £11 for this flour, but it disappeared and that led to 6 months of emailling. Very annoying that people (not just one but 3!) could lie when presented with digital proofs!

Love freshly baked bread.!!!!:hungry:
Hubs makes ours, although not every day. He has sandwiches for tea ( we usually eat our main meal at lunchtime ,if we're home) but I don't ,try not to eat bread too much....but it is very tempting:)(y)

If they are good quality, you might as well use it. But a bit of nightmare teasing the roots. Do tell us what you're going to sow please!

I will definitely need some salad leaves and camellia cuttings. Been saying the latter for days!

Bread is very fattening. We don't need its help in that respect. Our metabolism has already slowed down. Soon, I will be an even rounder rotunda! :LOL:

Sounds a really headache had a similar issue with m&s went on for an age all over £19 they thought I would roll over and give up little did they know !

Yes, I know! You have to stand firm or this will happen to someone else who might be hard of hearing, old, ill or won't be able to speak for him/herself.

Others might have known this saga of mine. When I was divorcing, I was told to get 3 valuations for the house. I did that, but in the court, Ex's solicitor, the one with fish net tights, said that as I was a 47 year old alien, I wouldn't allow estate agents to come into the house to give a proper evaluation, so she asked for them to be redone. I was livid and wanted to raise my hand. But my solicitor minded that only she could speak to the Judge.

Then I got a letter from my solicitor saying that she had instructed the SAME estate agents to do the evaluation. I myself wrote to the judge and he said I would be exempted from doing this. My solicitor's boss asked me if I had a degree and in what and then told me she lived in Wanstead Flats, my face went blank! I hated the word flat - I want to live in a house, Wanstead Flats have never had any attraction or posh connotation for me!

I got a refund for land search fee and I asked my ex if he had been refunded the same. He said no. I felt so aggrieved and every time in the following 10 years, I would email the Legal Commission with cc to Justice Secretary, and Attorney General (at that time it was Grieve) and ex's and my solicitors. 10 years down the road, ex got his refund for land search and the illegal overcharging for evaluation and he got £1300 and I got £600 or £700. No explanation given but we both got the refund. I just hope they would do that to some SE Asian ladies who couldn't even speak the language or some women who left everything to their husbands!

230 hellebores:eek::eek::eek:that's a lot more room than wallflowers.:LOL::LOL::LOL:

It is annoying, hubby sent a jacket back through the post. It didn't have to be a recorded parcel. It got lost in the post and royal mail wouldn't own up to that it was their fault. But in the end he got his refund after a lot of phone calls. But he's very good at doing that sort of thing and i think that i couldn't.:)

LOL! Love pastry delices.. 3 rosette sounds posh and expensive. Well, every little helps. You'll be alright.

Try not to just look at those houses on the internet. Talking to estate agents in the areas you want and put down your requirements. You probably could do a bit of b&b and solar panels!

Your case makes my blood boil @alp.....utterly awful!!:(

Yes! My blood boiled all the more when my ex said he didn't deserve the cheque and I told him that I complained. I should have asked him for what he felt he didn't deserve! He was overcharged for 10 years for the land search and they nearly got away with it!
