It's on your bargain thread - a lot of tomatoes - Shelley, yellow ones, Rosella and 2 big toms. Sugar snaps, Basil, tarragon, and cobea scandens... which I killed as I didn't bother to take indoors when it was cold and I bought 5 bags of 52L of Levington tomato planter @ £1 each. Should have bought 2 more. But don't want to stand in a hard shoulder with lights flashing because I break the car axle! You remember this guy boasting about how many bags of compost he/she got for a song and was scared still he/she might break the axle because of the excessive demand on the car!?

@Leeski We're also doing a spatchcock, but I add Tamarind taste which I thought was sweet. It tasted so weird and I might have ruined the marinating. Had to add some sugar. Hope it's not going to burn the bird because of the sugar!

Hi everyone looks like everybody been busy :).

I leave my Gladioli in the ground as well, I forgot about them really but they been coming up every year but not sure about this year .

I did have a cold while away but it didn't bother me, It just started to really come on today after I nearly froze to death getting off the plane :cold: Got earache now from the plane ride (n)

Glad that you must have a decent stag do if the cold hadn't bother you. I told my son always to take something warm as the freaky weather is beyond freaky. Hope you have a lot of honey and whisky! A ta santé! It never ceases to amaze how a little can be stretched a long way!

You had a good time, I guess! Mourinho Not! Now trending Mourinho sack odds!

Morning all
@Leeski we get our sand and gravel from the local garden centres.

Hubby going this morning for some more compost. It used to have a offer on the bag saying,3 for the price of 2,but now it's 4 for the price of 3. I haven't got enough space for 4, so just get 2.

It's happening all the time with other things, they keep the price the same, but reduce the amount that's in it.

@Leeski Freecycle - gardening grit /sand for title and then go to ask for gardening accessories - try Wilko and Asda (even play sand it good enough as it is CLEAN) As they are not gc, they won't rip your arm/leg off. Even B&Q or Homebase - look for split bags - can be a good place. Whilst at big Asda, look out for compost reduced as they will be marked down dramatically like £2 for 70L. I bought 52L Toms planter for £1 yesterday. Could have got 6 to 7, but only got 5 as I didn't want to kill the car. Also in winter, look out for big Verse 125L reduced to half price (about £3).

Have a look at gumtree. I was too late for the last good one. But it all depends on how desperate you are!
