No rain even though it’s been an 87% chance for the past few hours, just like their lack of storm warnings, I think the cows will be a better indication than the BBC or weather app at this point

We love Nando’s sauce, which strength was it? medium is my limit ;)

For us this should be the last day of heat, for a week anyway but not much rain.

This morning hubby went to the local GC to get Chempack no. 2 and 4 soluble plant food. all sold out, had to order from Amazon.

Coloured my hair yesterday, hubby tried to get some more of the shade that i use. He got 2 packs but it seems to be going out of production.

Going to do some watering now.

@alp , my Dad is sooo sad, he's on the verge of tears all the time...utterly heartbroken. And it's equally heart breaking to witness too:(

:ROFLMAO:......I know I'm technically challenged @alp.....but I do have a mobile, only problem was I left it at home today !!!!:)

I'm technically challenged as well. Son told me to switch on the phone. And I didn't even know that I turned it off. I couldn't even switch on the phone to answer a call. Very stupid of me. Like you, most of the times, I left it at home. Or failed to answer the call at all.

Been out to sort out some plants. Put the pepperdew chillies outside and also the cucumber or melons. I don't know that they are. I sowed cucumber seeds and nothing showed up. After a bit of changing pots, I'm none the wiser as to whether they are melons or cucumbers. All I know is that I had to use brute force to separate them and that entangled the ginger which gave out a lovely fragrance. Just loaded the dishwasher and I am already in total perspiration. It actually is spitting a bit. The hedgehog had a bit of cat food last night. We're not putting anything new unless it's finished. Or was it the cat who ate it as it was very friendly to me this morning? It actually turned round and looked at me, meowed and wagged its tail. Shock horror! Normally, it turned its back on me and walked away from me!

I love that white pot with base. Decent pots. I need tons of those. I bought another cornus rubra for £5. Hope it survives. Just took some cuttings of the the cornus rainbow. Need to try.

Some pictures from home today.
I would high recommended trailing petunia seeds from Dobies red / whitey lilac colours they have been excellent. The purple velvet I got off ebay still nice but not as vigorous

Thanks @Leeski, I'll share these posts with him...he will gain a lot of comfort from yours and everyone else's kind words.

My parents always had Labs ...they are amazing dogs. I have many happy childhood memories of adventures shared with various ones......if things went wrong we would blame our furry partners in crime....unlike us they never got scolded:LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL:

LOL! Yes, the cows might be. 87% is much higher than what I have. Perhaps in the next few hours. I have staked some of my tall plants. Golden helenium and Thalictrum. We had the Xtra hot and we were panting like thirsty dogs after that. Tomorrow is son's birthday and we're going to use the cap number to get a quarter chicken.

Been out to trim off the overhanging branches so that rain water can reach more surface areas. But it was so hot. My acer leaves were totally scorched. I hope this so-called global warming is not real, but a cyclical.phenomenon.
