Nice simple little seasonal dinner that taste fab
Whole chicken spatchcocked - cut the back bone out with sharp scissors push down so it’s flattish make a butter mix with rosemary, thyme , lemon and garlic fill the cavities and under skin leave for an hour or so
Roast for 40 mins
Crispy pots and garden veg
Finish veg with basil ,parsley and mint

I will definitely try that as I have all the herbs. Thank you, @Leeski ! Stored in notepad on my desktop!:D;)

Are there any good climbers please? When they say bush, do you think you could get me a pic please? I have got 2 bushes! I hope they will do well. £2 each! Thank you for the info. What was it that you bought please? I'd love to rub it in your face if I could get one for £10! Wicked I am! LOL!

They don't sell that well though. It's like 3 or 4 weeks after reduction before they were cleared.

What do you a pic of alp ? I seen some DA rose in the reduced section before, most are covered in black spot. I have 4 DA roses - Mary rose ( old variety got it cheap ) - Golden celebration ( prone to black spot - large / highly scented flowers bought last autumn ) - Lady of Shallot bought this year and Generous Gardener climber high scent really nice.

I would high recommended trailing petunia seeds from Dobies red / whitey lilac colours they have been excellent. The purple velvet I got off ebay still nice but not as vigorous

Dahlia Fascination first year growing it, its very vigorous even after a cat snapped most of it off at the base. All the dahlia are leaning now due to the winds from weekend before :(

Morning !!
Not looking forward to today, my Dad had his dog put down yesterday so going over to be with him and clear up the reminders. So sad when, in later life ,they become your companion and not just the family pet. He is 93 and has never lived without a dog by his side but he knows that he can never have another one as he is too frail now :(

Hehe! Must be cheaper that what I can get. I will let you know the result. I remember Lady of Shallot. Thank heavens that we can google on the spot. Thank you, Perki!

I'm so sorry and sad about your dad's dog. Was it the heat or old age or something else. My thoughts are with you and your dad.:(

What is the altitude, Perki? 1400 feet was our record in Shap and Cumbria areas. Gues what? I think your planting is better than these. Nice to see others' ideas though. I have to say the planting scheme of Hyde Hall is the best. They had a lovely colour palette for each area divided by a hedge. Haven't been to Wisley for a long time, so can't say.

@Perki See! I only saw your home grown after my post. They are fantastic. You should charge for admission this month and sell some of your plants. Go on, I will you!
