Got back from the vets, they do a different vaccine so because they haven't had it before, got to have another in 4 weeks time, same with berry.

I love okra dearly. Eating it more than crawling around the prickly plants. I am amused by your thoughts for pigeon. Around here it is not uncommon to meet people who know how to corn feed a trapped Opossum for a similar purpose. Please do not eat the groundhog. They are just too cute.

No, for some strange reason, the hedgehog is spared. The real hog is famed for its crispy skin .. Actually, I had never heard of a hedgehog until I came here!

Raining gently here to, I bags up all the daffodils and some tulips yesterday ready for storing, I've kept more than I thought. Not much else is happening in the garden but for deadheading.

I'd take Japanese knot weed over maretail anyday, horrible weeds to try and get rid of. There is a weedkiller for maretail called Kurtail, don't know how good it is but maybe worth a try, its expensive (n).

I bagged up all my bulbs a couple of weeks ago....troub!e was that I couldn't tell which were which.....so bunged them all in together......good job I like surprises:LOL:

It’s a nightmare grows like wild fire have looked at my options but as I’m renting my home for another six months I’m just going to pull it up by hand if I don’t keep up with it it goes mad even had it in my greenhouse between the bricks

Try vinegar, use it when we've still got the dry weather.
Don't know how much but use it neat.

Thanks I have tryied vinegar it did burn some of the leafs but just keeps coming back only got to live with it for another six months thank goodness:)
