Just finished watching Gardeners' World. Love that Secret valley in Manchester. What a lovely watery garden. I so want a stream cutting through my new house.

Apparently, heavens don't want to frighten me with weather warning - flash rains .. I am not in the fun, AGAIN! I wouldn't mind 5 minutes' of intense rain..

As the Met Office is often wrong, let's hope it's wrong again. Rain reigns today for everyone else, I hope! We could all do with a bit of that!

I wish I were in Wirral!:cry::cry:! We are bone dry and worse still, the sun is in full force. No letting up for the wicked! Yesterday, I worked out in the garden till 11.10, but no today. Glad that I planted out another 4 hellebores.

Glad that your heavens are about to open. Vive the rain!:D Vive la pluie!:cry:

@Perki You've been quiet with your liquid gold. Didn't want to share with your screaming droughty forumers!:rolleyes: You deserve some spanking!

What plants have you fallen out with? Can they fall into my lap please?:love: You know I never say no to a freebie unless it needs moisture which I can never give in Essex.

@Leeski Please wait for a bit of rain and they will recover. Just use a rake to get rid of the moss. That piece of lawn fits so well with your scheme of things. I am sure an hour of torrential rain will do the trick.

Not a drop of rain for me! And no weather warning either. :banghead::inpain:

Amazing as I didn't see this last year.

Incidentally, @Leeski It might be a good idea to compost the spent grain and hop first before applying them to any plant or border.
