If it doesn't rain, we will have to do the same! A whole border of PLASTIC FLOWERS or CONCRETE THE WHOLE THING! Ah, why am I shouting! I found a bit of California pastely flower seeds and I direct sow. Another way to cope with drought and they are very pretty. Would you like some seeds, @Upsy Daisy ?

Got up quarter to five and have been watering. The tap water seems to be warmer than the outside air which is a bit cold (15c). Glad that the sky is dull and grey. At least the water wouldn't evaporate so quickly.

But it's going to be a SUNNY day!

Just back from my daily power walk lovely day went to wheatslade about 5 minutes walk from where we live where the pits once was ,Newcastle races tonight with the family around 20 of us going Deacon Blue on after the races should be a good night let’s hope myself and the better half can pick a few winners where’s that pin

Lovely panoramic views, @Zenj ! Isn't nice to have watery areas around. Much more interesting than just land and houses. You're very lucky to live around the area. 20 of you! Whoa! Make sure all doors are locked and secure when you're out.

It's sooooo sunny here, but the humidity has come down a bit. Direct sown some seeds (Zinnias and discovered who had been feasting on the stalks of my dahlias. 3 slugs despatched unceremoniously.

The sunshine brings out your flowers! So stunning! What is the name of the pink achillea please? I need to add this to my collection.

The nematodes certainly has been working magic. Such pristine and unblemished beauty. I need to borrow your trollius pic. I am sitting in a sauna here! Just cleared the garage waiting for a buyer for the sliding door. No show at the last minute - very annoying.

Honka is stunning! And the first one took my breath away.

We will have 2 more weeks of this heat. The rain for the weekend only smiles on SW.. I hope the water ban doesn't come too soon or all my grass will be dead and there will be tons of casualties.
