@BigC love the sign.

@alp have a good time at the GC.

Not doing much today, might do a bit of card making. Got 2 of these to cut out and put together.

Getting into doing these now.
On creat and craft tomorrow they're starting to show the Christmas cards to make.
Put a lot of recordings in the Humax.

Hubby put an order in for his new telly, it comes next week on Saturday.
He was waiting for the price to come down to what he wanted, also they were knocking £300.0 off.

Yes, Logan. Before summer holidays, shops will want to flog off their stuff. Now is the best time to buy! After holidays, everybody else will be thinking of impressing his/her friends with the biggest and most ridiculous screen size possible, eg 65" which you will need to watch from the Great Wall of China!:eek:

People don't seem to know some living rooms measure 12 x 14'! That's what I have found out. I get excited if it is over 17'! Might really have to move to Derby!

Good morning to all: I think you mean Princess Diana for clematis. I actually love Princess Kate. My clematises have disappeared. Kate seems to have died and so does Diana. :cry::cry::cry:! I am so gutted as they were very expensive. Have a look at Princess Kate - I think this is a more special variety.
Yep thats the one @alp thanks, and I'll keep a look out for Kate :LOL: maybe Meghan will make an appearance :ROFLMAO:
Well we are up early and the aromatic smell of bacon fills the air ..off to the beach we go with K9 and then to a few dog friendly GC's etc on our travels...We have reserved 2 of the Marie Currie Daff bird feeders so we have to call collect and maybe pick up that clematis if we get lucky...The WD also is after a stone figure for the front step."the Whistling Boy" so we'll see what we come home with .....Have a great day folks

@BigC If they came with the birds, I would have some as well! Talking of which, I would love to see @johnny canoe 's Mr and Mrs Woodpecker as well.

@alp it's probably because the new model is coming out, yes the smallest screen was a 55inch. That will just fit where we want it, but the bigger the better for the movies hubby wants to watch.:)

I have found that the more connectivity you have around the back the more expensive the TV becomes..search for an adequate screen size with just the amount of in/outputs you need..most of the time you'll never use all those ports..Just an observation

:)This new TV has less in/outputs than the one we have now,which is a plasma, he's got to get a extra cable to make it work with the sound system.:)The new one is a LG OLED tv.
Hubby will have to calibrate it, what ever that is.:ROFLMAO::D
But he has to wait for it to settle in for a month.

@Lovely yellow flowers and the aneomone is glorious!

Yellow is so outstanding. My alstroemeria is crying out for attention. The trollius is so perfect. Mine is being ravaged and defaced. More buds are coming up. The meconopsis have NO buds!:cry::cry::cry:

Just come in from shopping from 10am. Got some grass seeds and then found out it was much cheaper in B&M, so returned the one in B&Q and saw the Viburnum P Mariesii again. So tempted and asked it to be reduced further. Only £1 to £3. I ended up with 50p 8 stems of Broad bean. Need to google if they climb. Have no idea. I usually chucked them. But this time, I will eat them when they are young. I have the weapon against SS - ash and cinder and my alstroemerias are happily standing up. Need to cross pollinate them when it is cooler.

Nice and coolish in the car, so it has been a very enjoyable trip. But the Daphne asked for £1 to £4 with about 2 tiny leaves for the cheapest one. It's a tiny pot, not even a 1L pot. I want to have variegated leaves, so in the end, came home empty handed. But next week, there will be something that I want. I have done the reconnaissance!

It's so hot there that the only thing that is singing is the candytuft!

@alp
When I was at Harrogate flower show I was chatting to a nursery which grew Mecanopsis and he told me never let young plants flower cut the buds off, to make decent plants they need to put everything into there roots ,it sounds hard and you are tempted to see the colour I bought 2 plants off him so when they bud I will cut them off .

Hello everyone,
I’m new to this forum, seems like a nice place to be. I was hoping one of you could help me with a problem I’m having. My early bird frosty dianthus was fine until Wednesday and then it suddenly started drying up. I don’t know what I’m doing , it has been raining this past few days and I’ve been fertilising regularly, please can someone offer me some advice,
Thanks and Regards
