Very pretty honeysuckle! Some people are control freaks and born miserable. My neighbour has ivy with nasty air roots coming into my workshop vent and felt. When I chopped them off and chuck them over, they screamed and I couldn't be bothered arguing with thugs and lawless people. so I shredded them. Now I know why they grow so much of it. It's supposed to purify the air!
Thanks @alp it is a pretty one for sure...If he'd come round and said I would have gone round his back garden and pushed/threaded it back through into my own garden as I'd much prefer more blooms in my garden than his..there was no need IMHO to do what he did...he severed neighbour relations in one there...by doing that

The sun is already out. You're so lucky to be able to make your own bark mulch. Save a bit of money and it does improve the texture of the soil. Going to take some cuttings for my yellow flesh plum. Surprise, surprise, a peony I bought from Kelways have thrown up buds whereas the one I bought from a certain online company has lost the last precious bud. I am so annoyed.

Double tulips look nice in catalogue, but ghastly when they open fully.

Alp, I'll keep some for you. Sorry about your plants. We have that trouble here, I don't grow salvias, dahlias, I take a chance growing cosmos.

@Perki glad that you're feeling better.

@BigC the small blue flowers are forget me nots. I know why they're called that, you can't get rid of them. They just come up all over the place

A neighbour can do that. That's the trouble with climbers and there are some very nasty ones and some very nasty neighbours. I would like to have no neighbours and hope I can open windows at least 3 ways. I feel I am becoming a terrible moan. Now to tidying up the bedrooms and take some cuttings first.

A lot of things can be done and are correct according to black and white, but they should be the done thing. As a man said, "On ne se fait pas ici!"

I pretty much understand this @Logan and always view things from a perspective "what would I do in a similar situation"..to be honest he was a pretty decent chap I talked to him quite a lot and the climber wasn't a rampant runaway only just spanning the fence lightly. So I do wish he would have spoke up and I would surely have rectified any wrong doing..but alas these things happen in life and we must carry on regardless..Maybe I'll plant a shed load of Helex all along the fence hahahahaha ..just kidding

If a neighbour is nice and on speaking term, speak to each other before cutting the plant is what I would do first.

Hope you enjoyed your walk @Logan seems a nice pathway to tred. Great pics as usual @alp...I have let the War Department tackle the weed situation in the borders...hope her knees dont hurt too much later :whistle::LOL:

Well today went pretty much as planned I got some compost, some black silicone sealant for the greenhouse where I had to drill the hole for the weather-vane and a couple of 12" coir hanging basket inner to tidy up the old tired green felt affairs I had last season....So I'm now working on the Bar Sign and I'm going to make a little tiered trug affair tomorrow for herb pots maybe. My Betula utilis Jacquemontii has sprung into life I'll wait a little longer before washing the bark with soapy water :)

Almost everything I'd given up on has sprouted, tomatoes, chilli's, cucumbers etc etc.
and once er indoors (presently outdoors) finishes the weeding I'll sow some seeds along the fence.

I'm on the lookout for Primula vialli as I have lost all mine which is a shame..

Over 100F in the Hot House..no wonder the Chilli's are wanting to poke their heads out...
Well thats the trees lopped the grass cut and the borders weeded, the Bamboo (Niger) trimmed to 6ft and I've just had a salad soda sandwich...the sun has decided to show itself at long last its mighty warm out there...I'll wait until it cools somewhat before getting the silicone out to seal (if it really needs it) the Greenhouse.

I'm still working on the signage for the Bar..If it goes to plan it should be a winner.
