none at all I'd say:LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL:

:joyful: :hilarious: :ROFLMAO: (y)

BigC!! You have to make one of these!!!
I'll bet you could make several... ;) :hilarious:

Ooh, or this!! You probably won't need the video for this one!! (y) ...I think the "seed catcher" should be a little bit bigger.

MaryMary Yes, it must have been brutal for you as you don't really go to bed early. To get up early must be something rather unpleasant for a nightowl. Hope you don't mind the term. Lesson: Don't go for a job which requires you to get up too early as it doesn't chime with your body clock.

I don't mind the term at all, alp. :D It's something my mom called me. ;) :ROFLMAO:

Good Morning Everyone...
Been a bit under the weather the past week, so haven't commented much but still had a look in and been busy in the garden. Plants getting moved and planted, manged to get some more planted this evening 2 lupins - delphinium - pervorskia - salvia and others . I keep planting plants but keep potting more plants up at the same time, the plant stash never seems to go down.
Gald your feeling better @Perki ..Your greenhouse is an Aladdin's cave...I must plant some Salvia this season, I always threatened to but never got around to it, I also have Lupins and Delpiniums in seeds that have to go out.

Just a word about seeds...I got dome Baby F1 Cucumber last year I got 6 in a pack from Suttons of which I planted 4 (started them off in the greenhouse) They all germinated and went on to be very productive and very handy size...This season I planted the two seeds I had left...nothing germinated...I bought another packet (same sp. same company) planted 4 and only one has germinated ...am I doing something wrong?

Your tulips / wallflower have put on a real show this year logan.

How are you now, @Perki ? Is it just a cold?

I know how you feel. I kept saying to myself that I must start any flower seed sowing, but salad leaves yes. Last night 5 more trays+ were created again! Cucumber, melon, salad leaves, Pak Choi, onion and shallots.. (I love Longor! Sweet and delightful - delicious - introduced to me by Lidl! for 19c a bag:D) and now that the teak furniture is waiting to be cleaned, I have 4 more surface areas to put trays on:eek::oops:! So much for tidying up!

Funny thing is that I was never keen on growing vegs, but this Shallot Longor business has really started me going. Of course, salad leaves and land cress and Pak Choi are always my favorites. This year marks the turning point that I actually bought potatoes set to grow.

BigC - you're not trying to germinate cucumber seeds in a metal shiny pots or I should go to Specsavers!

Gosh, you did well with your cucumber this year!

@MaryMary - what seeds have you sown lately? Glad that you quit at the right time of the right. It's time to sit back and enjoy the garden.

I had another delivery from Hayloft and I thought I had all the hellebores in the world. Apparently, I was wrong!

@Bigc it's best with cucumbers to sow the 6 seeds and then transplant them. Not all of them will come up and the strongest you keep.
I bought 20 la Deva cucumber seeds in a packet from Dt.brown, because they were the cheepest and they were all female flowers.I got 14 good seedlings and 4 not so very good. I kept the better ones and they're growing well. It could be the seeds if you have done the same, they don't like being too wet.

I don't use this mix of bird feed any more. I buy fat balls, sunflower heart and worms, but as the weather gets better, I think the birds should be on their bike.

When I have these seeds, they drop and self seed everywhere. I even had oats which I mistook for stipa gigantean which is called GOLDEN OAT! Also, the black birds and starlings and sparrow make such a racket and the titis are frightened. So I keep buying caged feeders.

That Ro
Hi alp was not looking for hellebores but trilliums but saw this and had to buy will see if it flowers the same , from here http://www.twelvenunns.co.uk/nursery/

Naughty! Naughty! I'm trying to tighten my budget. But that Roscoea is beautiful. Trilium like shade? I need to buy a house with different microclime and has a shaded area. Funny you should say that trillium is pretty. The owner of the Hillcrest nursery was very taken with it as well.

I am still waiting for your Nomacharis! Oh, can't wait!
