Jealous is hardly the word for how I feel about all your lovely flowers posted above...wish I had some of those in my garden to brighten up its mundane borders..hopefully this year I can address this subject.

A little preliminary review of the Root IT Horticultural LED Panel
My little Led Panel arrived today so I thought I'd get straight to the installation. It is ideal for over my small heated propagator now giving me both heat and light options..
Unboxing
It measures approximately 37 x 24 x 9 cm and boasts full spectrum illumination. It is packaged in sealed clear hard molded plastic.(be careful when opening it can be sharp) I used scissors to help open this. In the package itself you get the panel, A powerblock with a switch, A link cable (you can add more lights in a daisy-chain if you so wish)..Also included in the package are a set of under shelf brackets and screws to suspend the unit if you so wish and a set of four silicone moulded adhesive feet if you wish to set the panel directly on top of your propagator as I have done.
First Impressions
Once I got it all set up and running I discovered that it also has 2 modes 20w dimmable to 10w and a beam at a beam angle of 120 degrees. It is super bright when placed over the Propagator...It feels quite well made and robust and it gives you confidence in its capabilities. It omits hardly any heat and is cheap to run.

It still remains to be seen if this little panel gives me the edge needed to germinate and grown on my chilli seeds and seedlings prior to placing in the Greenhouse proper. To early to tell but I will keep you all updated on the progress of this useful little light box.

Lovely flowers, everyone. Gosh, Upsy: If there is something worth something, put it on gumtree. Don't chuck it.

I have one leak sorted out and there is another to sort out and the one with the gutter upon the lean to is the worst.

Looks very good, @BigC! See if you can find out how many units of electricity it consumes a day please!

I will try...I will also be (after tea) coupleing it up to a digital timer, to afford the propagator approx 10hrs of light per day to begin with.

No @alp nothing worth the trouble of selling.
Haven't really got the time or inclination to place adverts and then be available for someone to come over to collect, as my brother can't walk the distance to his garage .....he hasn't even got the strength to open the garage door anymore:(

Hubs has taken some tools and various other bits, his friends will also get a chance to have a rummage through before we dump it.:)(y)

Next to attack is the flat itself!!!:)

@Upsy Daisy Life deals with an unfair card. Thank heavens he has you as a family member. Nice that you have time to take those lovely wall flowers. I used to have the blood red ones. Really love them. Now, the birds must have delivered some yellow seeds as I have two or 3 around, but the pic was too blurred to be used. Hope the flowers revitalise you, Upsy!

Yes, Ireland's in for a bit of a blue ribbon with neon blobs laced in between. What a shame. We all have blue sky, but not you. Perhaps heavens want you to work with your hands indoors, knowing that you can weave magic ..

Kind of you to say that @alp. He's the only brother we have and he's worth everything us , he's definitely been dealt a rough hand of cards!:(
Our aim is to get him settled into his new home ,sort out a care package and help him to smile again.:)(y)

Sadly we also have a very dear friend in the same predicament who has no family. Hubs and I are attending a Professionals meeting ( with 8 others and her social worker) later this week to finalise her care package too:)(y)

It puts things into perspective seeing how others have to manage with such problems......we are so fortunate.

Yes, we are lucky to live in a half-civilised UK where people are looked after. I hope he can have a team of reliable carers so that he can smile again, as you said. It must be quite exhausting clearing stuff. I spent hours just cleaning the front and still haven't weeded the front part. Now, the lean to is full of trays of seedlings again. Perhaps, being tidy and gardening don't go hand in hand. Hope you make time for yourself, @Upsy Daisy !

Morning all.
It's been a year today that i fractured my knee. Doesn't time fly.

Hubby's going to get me some more compost this morning and this afternoon he's got a invigilation meeting at south bromsgrove school, that will keep him busy for a while.:)

Does anyone know how to get rid of a corn on the bottom of my foot?
I haven't changed my footwear and they're not tight. Don't know how I got it.
I've tried corn plasters with a gel already on it. I've tried using one of those foot files.
