Hi, just got back from my catch up session in a friend....brrrrrrr.

I walked to her house then we decided to go to the local Waitrose to have a browse and ( several) coffees in their café.

Boy oh boy was it cold outside when we emerged several hours later, decided to call her hubs to kindly come and collect us as we couldn't face the chilly walk home.. Wimps here too @alp

Well, at least you're safely home. Who cares about wimps? I went out to slouch (is there such a word?) the kitchen waste near my amistad - in the hope that it will be working as a mulch material (expediency is my downfall!) I will be totally red-faced when the weather is better and all the material stares me in the face. I also had a look at the amount of water I had collected. Very pleased.

I reckon you don't have much snow your way. All the rooftops round here are more or less without any more snow. Another cold night to come.. I can't wait to see the back of the snow. Glad that you have had a nice chat ..

I am going to brave it in a minute ( after I have finished my Black Forest Gateaux coffee) and go out to cover certain plants with fleece.....if I can remember where I put it!!!

Oh!!!!...... we have a strange looking yellow thing in the sky...what could it be?

Have fleeced everything up...... including Tulip bulbs!!

Just catching up and my eyes locked on "black forest gateau coffee" ..... doesnt Upsy live well? Plain latte for me!

Had an eye check today and was just a teeny bit mischievous whilst waiting in the waiting room. A few jokes....got a few laughs so got away with them; I think Well, I hate the silence in these places!
Also an old lady missed her seat as she tried to sit down; saw it all in slow motion so I managed to catch her before the floor did. As my niece would say I am "always attention seeking" ha ha

Cold windy day with the odd heavy shower; all relative I guess though because the temps were prob no lower than 7 degrees, higher when the sun was out. Very cold tonight though

One good deed today, little imp! @Verdun .. You probably saved her life!

Last time I went to the surgery, I came home with a very nasty cold. Next time, I might go with a mask to filter the air!
