Rudbeckia seeds, but I have tons! Why are the birds ignoring me!? I would love to be living in Australia or the States! Just think about the hummingbirds and all the other colourful birds... Hope @johnny canoe remembers to feed his cuties ..

Good morning, Logan and others. A warmer day and just turned on my washing machine. Raining now.

Good morning Alp. Rained last night and made the paths worse, i thought that it would. Hubby still not going out. He's more worried for me having to do all the walks, i am as well. Glad that it's better for you.

Logan: I think you two should do it together or not venture too far out. I don't want you to have any nasty falls and I can understand his concerns for you and vice versa. Tread very carefully.

Thanks, just got back from walking Barley,it was as i expected. The roads are terrible, they haven't gritted them. I knew that it would be like this. But it's not so cold, could do with a lot of rain. Keep safe as well. Have a good day.

Glad you made the early morning walks OK @Logan

@alp, I also have left alot of seed heads on.....and it hasn't made a jot of difference......still no extra feathered visitors apart from our regulars! Not sure if having all the fields around us makes a difference
I had to 'fight' to keep them on too, as hubs likes to have a ' tidy' looking garden in the winter. Had a right old job stopping him from chopping of the seed heads.......and did the birds reward me for fighting their corner? .........nope not at all.

Well.....it's a grey old day here today, but much milder.

As today is the only day this week that I am not meeting up with anyone then it seems the housework must finally get my undivided attention...... can't escape it anymore

Why dont you use your skateboard logan?
Wet overnight but brighter now.
Tall grasses still making an impact along with dogwood (stems).....who says winter is dead?

Winter is NOT dead. My iris stem still has got its 3 buds. Wonder if the hollyhock still has got the 2 peachy flowers. A lot of water in trays and I emptied them and I was surprised to see quite a few buds ..

Drizzly now. Thank heavens that the air is no longer so icy. I agree with you, Logan. Housework is tedious.
