Yep-Nate is here but fortunately the wind seems to be far weaker this distance from landfall.

I just pile up everything except Kitchen scraps for compost . Its too much work to do otherwise. After the kitchen scrap breaks down a while I will throw it in as well.

Dry patio this morning much to my surprise when I got up at 6 o'clock; it's turned into a beautiful day today in fact better than most most of the days during summer; perhaps we should change the seasons round?

Same here. Dry day again, but gloomy and no wind to dry my clothes 11 to 17c and cloudy the whole week. Cloudy with no sun or rain.

Please keep the snow roadrunner; the rain is bad enough to contend with over here. 1" of snow and the UK grinds to an halt; we've become soft since I was a kid 60 years ago.
