Hi,

That sure looks grim johnny Canoe and certainly not outside gardening weather.

We are still buffeted by strong wind bringing showers with it; I've just been up to the hut and the wind is trying to remove the hut from the valley side; I would so love a giant force field right over our property? ;)

13C at the moment here; blinded by the sun one minute the next minute a black hole.

Kind regards, Colin.

We have had a lovely day. Lunch time, I removed a big clump of red hot pokers.. after mourning over the loss of my only nerine bud in three years...:cry:

Sunny at 8pm and the sunshine lasted until 4pm. A bit of spit which I wouldn't call rain. Nothing as interesting as yours, @Colin !

Turned out to be a nice day 68f, I mowed the lawns and then vacuum up the leaves (again ) I love my leaf vacuum save me from bending over to pick up the leaves, it also mulch's them so I can get more in the barrels, it also works a leaf blower .

20c is very comfortable gardening temperature. I saw loads of leaves near a diy store and I had the urge to take a broom and a bag to harvest them.. People might think I am mad!

Glad that you have a leaf vacuum to prevent any damage to your back or knees. Can't be too careful. .. Aches and pains can seriously compromise our quality of life!

Going to be colder than yesterday 10 to 16c.. far too cold. Sun will be out for half a day. So make the most of it by starting the washing machine.

It has been a fabulous day. Spent the afternoon in Hyde Hall RHS flagship garden. Sunshine is a premium these days and today we were basking in it. Lovely!
