We didn't have any snow last year. When there was snow, I had a lot of peaches. Must be the snow feeding the tree! October only and snow and power cut.. Not funny!
I have one success with my dahlia cuttings. The big dinner plate pink one. Powdery mildew got in the way. I have learned that a cup of apple cider vinegar might help to kill compost bugs in indoor pots. I am experimenting with that now. Some of the salvia cuttings have come into buds. Well chuffed.
My pet cloud Blackie paid us a visit during the night soaking everything again now his sister Gale has taken over and she's living up to her name; it's hard enough standing on our steeply sloping garden but the wind makes it very difficult to do anything at all. I seem to have missed summer this year.
An update. GRRRRRRRR. I've just been driven out of the garden by Blackie putting rain down like pencils; perhaps Bron and I should move down to Essex because I'm sick of this constant bad weather the year round; this afternoon was more like the opening sequence in Wuthering Heights but in rain?
I'm stuck indoors when I really want to crack on with the garden.
