hello alp,
Yes, a high efficiency furnace sits in my basement and heats my home. Just like this one.

Well, you certainly need one of these. I was surprised to hear the word. I thought it would be an industrial juggernaut. Is it run on oil, or electricity? I saw a lot of mining going on at the far back arctic area of Canada. Do you have a lot of oil in your lovely young country? How much would it cost to keep your house warm in a typical winter month?

Our furnaces run on gas. Yes, Alberta has huge oil reserves and back at the farm we could strike a match to our kitchen faucet and have a flame burning. We have so much natural gas in the ground it would come up with the well water.
About $100 Canadian dollars, covers me for gas, water and electricity per month.

My province is a heavy energy producer.

Amazing! You're very lucky! Must be a very rich province to have those valuable vital assets.

We have had no rain today and it has been a glorious day, but the meth lab has been in full swing ..

Sunshine out for a while until 2pm and then it was cloudy and joyless. I was repotting all my salvia seedlings and suddenly I found that I had similar problems that they seedlings rotted a bit at the roots and looked a bit lifeless. I still potted them on as I remember all my primula auriculas were rootless like that and they still survived.

Just done it and son helped repair the broken bit. I have two washing line. One is historical and another one designed and patched up by me as it allows the winter sun to dry the clothes longer. It's facing west .. and I thought I was clever to have BE FOLLOWING THE FOOTPRINT OF THE SUN .. :p

Warm temps are returning so I'm putting a halt on pulling and digging up plants that are still putting on a show. I think I will focus on cleaning out the shed and throwing what I don't want nor use into the back of my truck and haul it to the dump sometime later this week.
I'm noticing less wasps the past few days, I suppose they will now come back out with this warm up. I don't hate the critters but they are so curious this time of year and they like to crawl on me. YIKES! Bees I don't mind at all. lol
