Hurrah! At least, someone has a bit of Indian summer. Same can't be said for us. Just retired all my clothes and some are being dried next to my oven - perfumed with rosemary .. Haha!

That sounds lovely! I never thought of drying my storage clothes with herbs...I definitely am going to try that!

Good morning to all: 10 to 18c here. The promised sun hasn't shown its hands.. But it is my only hope in the whole week to wash AND dry my clothes. Started the washing machine before 6.30am.

5am and the furnace is running. I haven't poked my face outside yet, still dark.

What is this furnace? Not in your house, I hope, @johnny canoe ! I thought you mentioned snow or was I hallucinating because of the meth lab next door. Last night the factory was on the whole night.

As soon as the gangster mama heard me in the garden, she coughed and went back up to open her bathroom window and the toxic fumes are everywhere in my house.

My son is now blaming the fumes for his non-stop weeing

It was 90F yesterday. It will be 90F today. It will be 90F tomorrow.
After that, upper 80s for the rest of the week. Sunny, with more sun expected.

Today is our first day of Autumn.
