Hi,

Thanks for your concern Gail; at last I can take a deep breath without it hurting so I'll soon be heading into the workshop assuming I can find it as heavy snow is forecast for this weekend; I might be on snow clearing duries so time now to get the snow shovel out and carry some sand arouind in the Yeti?

The warning comes as the Met Office said Emley Moor was the coldest place in the country on Wednesday with an average temperature of just 4.1C.

Guess who lives near Emley Moor?

Hi,

Very cold with frost here.

I've been visiting our local Morrison's supermarket since it opened over twenty years ago; as usual I wandered around doing the shopping and bent down to pick tins of carrots when I felt a sudden sharp pain; looking at my finger blood was running out? I had opened up a small wound on the sharp carton edge rather like a paper cut; nothing for it but to wander over to the reception and request a plaster; sorry we are no longer allowed to do things like this? I was kindly handed a couple of paper tissues then the assistant lifted the phone asking for assistance; shortly a lady appeared who kindly handed my a sticky plaster saying she can't stand the sight of blood; what joy it was to be standing at the reception whilst I played around with the sticky plaster; both assistants were wquite miserable and I apolgised for troubling them; I was surprised not being charged for the plaster and now Morrison's have my DNA will I be pestered by junk mail and emails? I think I'll live.

1C today with gusty winds and sleet forecast. BRRRRR it's cold outside and not a day to wander down to the workshop.

Better than yesterday, but we didn't have the freezing rain like they said, but very pleased.
They can only predict the weather.

Slightly warmer today so WHOOPEE it's a full workshop day.

I'm not sure if we had the freezing rain yesterday Logan; something was coming down; I'm getting soft because it was too cold to play out. I've not been into the workshop for a couple of days because its been perishing.
