Hi,
Thanks for your concern Gail; yes I take lots of safety precautions whilst pottering around; I recently bought a Trend Airshield helmet; for years I've used the dust masks which generally liked to mist up my glasses; the last box of dust masks I bought I had difficulty breathing wearing one of them it seemed to cut off my air supply leaving me gasping for breath so enough was enough. I'm not totally happy with the Airshield and think the battery and filters would be better worn on a belt around my waist but I had to do something because a new pair of lungs isn't an option so I accept the small problems with good grace.
Our car too lives on the driveway but given the dire weather I've not been able to wash it but it's not raining at the moment; if it remains fine after dinner I think I'll give it a good wash. A couple of days ago the tyre warning icon lit up on the dash indicating a tyre problem? Back home I checked the tyres; all four were down only 1.5psi but I've brought them back up to pressure; modern cars are excellent but their electronics can mislead; I've seen the icon light up whilst all tyres have been perfect. Bron and I are driving over to visit friends in Hull on Tuesday so the car will end up just as dirty again. The car's a Skoda Yeti and it feels like I'm washing a bus.
Waking up at 7am Gail? I'm up every morning at 6am to make a brew for Bron and I which I take back to bed then we get up at 7 o,clock to see what the day is going to throw at us.
Everything outside is soaking wet Logan after the deluge over the last couple of days; light rain is something my pet cloud Blackie doesn't understand.
I don't really know what it's been doing this morning because I've been so busy in the workshop; the workshop is our garage and has a pair of side hung doors with obscured wired safety glass but I could see it was dark again; usually I can see a waterfall down the glass.
Dinner time so another morning has slipped by; more workshop after dinner if I'm not car washing so the weather can please itself.
Kind regards, Colin.
